Go to Satori Mountain when the Lord of the Mountain is there, then go to one of the lakes. If it's raining, you'll be causing entire flocks of birds to go extinct with stealth and a well fired lightning arrow. I just found this out accidentally.

Dude that's the exact same way I reacted to my first blood moon, I was terrified. I was worried I had taken too long not paying attention to the story and gannon had escaped, by the time I was finally getting told what was happening I was terrified, I was running around and screaming at my brother to "help me not die". And then I learned I was fine and my brother was rolling on the floor literally laughing his *ehem* hiny off

I remember climbing to a talus or something. It was my first encounter with one, and I had no idea how to fight it, so I ran up and tried to hit it, and freaked out when it did no damage. Then I just ran and somehow managed to get to the bazaar.

I agree with newbie Link when it came to bombing the Hinox on Eventide Isle. I ticked that Hinox off by accident and made a mad dash to the shore until I had enough room to just keep chucking and alternating bombs at it until it died. It didn't help that there was an Octorock spitting rocks at me just off the shore while I was bombing the Hinox though.

I stood on the cliff and let the bombs roll. I was too far away/high up for it to hit me. It took ages, and the bombs always had to reach a specific place (close to the leg, or the hand as it reached down). I used the same tactic early game when there were lots of monsters, instead of learning how to flurry rush and stuff.

DeathnoteBB well, one time, he was in the mood for tower hunting, and he found the Ridgeland tower (with electric death surrounding it). I told him to save that tower for later, since it was nearly impossible for me when I tried, but he decided to go ahead. In short, he died about 5 times before ultimately giving up. He passed the controls to me, and I somehow got it first try.

This very much reminds me of me watching my mom play BotW for the first time after I had already beaten it. It was a good mix of me messing with her and laughing at her struggling with the hard/annoying bits and her coming up with clever hacks I never even dreamed of and getting some of the stuff I struggled with on the first try. Good times! 😂❤

Three years later and I still wonder why players save their arrows. If you don't use them you will forget them. If you don't get them, you won't use them. There's no point just use what you have

That's because Hylian Hood is the most stylish hat and all other clothing options must be chosen around it. (Plus it keeps the characters/players distinct, but that's besides the point.)

And the only clothes better than the blue tunic is the wild stuff. OK that’s a lie, the barbarian set is way better but I doubt he has it.

This is like that one glitch that happens randomly where the monsters won't spawn until about 4 seconds later

For those wondering: The solution for the lost woods is actually to hold a lit torch. When standing still, the wind direction will blow embers from your torch in the direction you're supposed to go
