Been thinking about this show for about a year now, can't say it's anything short of a masterpiece that really goes under most people's radar

yeah.. its not really a story with anime as a tool to convey it, but an idea/concept/experience conveyed through a story which is then conveyed through anime. It is just perfect, because the surface plot isn't the main focus point, like it would be with other anime's where you can say that certain parts of the plot could be done better by this or that. -the more i think of it, the more sonny boy represents the definition of "art".

I'm pretty sure the inventor of death is Hoshi, that manipulative little prick that could talk to God. Also the dude in the dog's flashback identified himself as war.

A confusing show at first watch for some people but will completely understand after re-watching again. One of my favorite show.

Realizing something underminded in this show's conversation is how everyone lived an entire universe's existence while Nagara was just trying to figure out how to get home. If you think on that you come to the logical conclusion that the goal is counter intuitive, but the point is that he had a goal at all, and that is what grounds you and provides meaning. Just further emphasises your take.

Such a good ass show. Makes me feel so many emotions and it handles so many interesting ideas in powerful ways. Perhaps I will make my own video on Sonny boy

Great video homie. I started this show few days after the first episode aired and watched to around episode 2-3. I took my time to watch it all the way through last week and the week before. Almost kinda ironic. I have zero regrets of watching it.

I'm so glad I got this video in my recommendations! I watched this anime in one go and damn, it's my favorite anime. I'm crazy about 8 and the last episode. The eighth series is so .... Pleasant? I never get tired of watching it, to be honest. The story of Kodama and Yamobiko has sunk into my soul. I'm sorry, I like to look at tact relationships in anime, aha.. I love the last episode for what it is. The heroes returned to the real world. It does not have endless adventures and superpowers. You just keep on living, it's raining and you're just living on a rainy day... It's very good. It is a pity that this anime could not get a lot of people, it is included in the top viewed anime in my life.

Only thing I disliked about this anime, was the amount of people who slept on the english dub, which was very well done imo

Sonny boy is my favourite anime and I actually watched it in english dub. I prefer all my anime in dub. People really sleep on the one punch man english dub too.

@@spoonlad_ omg if sonny boy is your favorite anime and you haven't seen the monogatari series, pls trust me and go look it up right now!!! it's the only thing that could come close to sonny boy in it's weirdness and crypticness lol
