Kinda weird to give it away. The medal is a representation of 4 years hard work, gaining the knowledge and skill to prove youre the best but it only has true value to those that did it and got it, what value does it hold for the kid? Disobey the law and get rewarded? Attend a finals rugby game and get rewarded? Sure its an amazing souvenir to have but its just a meaningless gold medal for him it doesnt actually represent anything, other than maybe a down payment for a house if he were to sell it lol

SBW is one of the most humble people in sport, he really cares about putting a smile on peoples faces and he's come through tough times and was heading down an opposite path in the early 2000's to where he is today. But he changed. SBW = A hero!

I feel sorry for the security guard, he was doing his job and they all gave him attitude. No other kids are aloud to run onto the field like that, why reward this kid and not the ones not breaking the rules?

If it was an adult that ran on to the field they would have been tackled and pinned to the ground and also be charged and banned for future games. But cause he's a kid he's aloud to get away with it. Doesn't make sense.

Well legally in England you can even stop a bugler from leaving your store even if he or she still has the stolen items on them unless you are a police officer,a security guard can legally stop you either.

When the security guard tackled the boy it was like we were still playing the game.

It takes a big generous heart to give away your Gold medal just to some random kid who jumped on field. It's a sign that Sonny is a man much deeper than just what is visible to the world. Its quiet shocking but I'm happy for the kid. He got an unexpected treatment and a great present from such a star. He shall remember this for his life and I am sure he will cherish this moment. Sometimes fortune really favours those who take initiative...no matter how bonkers that initiative might be.

He's not humble. He'll do anything to get attention. And not just giving his medal away, to get camera-time and newspaper headlines, either. He takes his shirt off at every opportunity, to show the world how awesome he is. Practically the very opposite of humble. Take Buck Shelford or Michael Jones for example. They had no interest in getting tattoos or doing anything that would draw attention to themselves. Sonny Boy makes millions of dollars. Shelford or Jones would've played for free. And if World Rugby put a video of Michael Jones on KZread, Jones would contact them and ask them to please take it down.

I am no rugby fan but this guy is something special...
