Its funny how skme pastors expect gospel musicians to come minister in their churches without paying them. But it would suprise you to know that thses same pastors charge the gospel minister if they want to use their church audition for a program. I know a gospel minister who has booked a church auditorium for a concert this December and had to pay at least GHS 30,000.00 for the place. And i confidently say this because I chanced upon the official receipt that was issued to him. I dare also say these same pastors also receive payments when they minister in other churches

If they don’t charge how will they pay their back up singers, and other groups that help them put all the stage. Why does Pastors collect envelopes after preaching the gospel?

Isn’t this how Gospel artist earn a living. Then preachers should not receive stipends or honorariums for preaching. You guys need to stop the nonsense. This world runs on cash and people have to earn a living to survive and take care of their families.

I understand your talking points, but don’t forget that God gave you your talent to spread the gospel and bring souls to him. Most gospel singers “perform” only when they’re paid huge appearance fees. What happened to the salvation message? Jesus admonished us. “depart from me, ye workers of iniquity..”

Let's stop the hypocrisy. Don't the gospel musicians live in the same economy as you and I? Don't they pay to record their songs when they go to the studio? Don't they pay their instrumentalists and other staff ??? Don't they travel to come minister?? How do you expect them to cater for all these bills without charging for their performance, ministrations or concerts ???
