Several reasons one of which is that in the past the Jovians were all unhappy because Helios abandoned them and the Terrestrials were just living their lives happily and in the future the Jovians started to move on while the Terrestrials were having a hard time because of many things like the moon revolutions and stuff, but again, those are only a few things out of the other several reasons.

Yeah, the planets are getting further away from the sun, so the sun is also getting farther away. Hence the sun becoming small, it’s cause he’s far away :)
