This dudes peacock setups are actually insane. The bomb into beam super to push the bomb and explode at the end of the beam super is just wild. The amount of control with peacock is actually next level. If anything Ms.Fortune is his weakest link, if they improved just a little bit with Ms.Fortune they would be a really terrifying threat. But that being said their anchor alone can pose a massive threat.

His fortune is crazy good too though? I actually think she completes the team because when her head is on screen that's an extra thing to think about which is a point of his gameplay. He always has you guessing and gets hit confirms whenever you aren't paying attention using her head haha

@@OrderedAffairs Yeah she fits the team, but I'm just saying his fortune gameplay is just on the weaker side because she typically got opened up and just ended immediately by sonic, there was a couple matches where he got to do a bit with her, but it was rare for his fortune to come out ontop of one of sonics chars instead of vice versa which makes me believe theres a lot of improvement that can be had.

I feel like you have to appreciate how they still won though. It's kind of the difference between a top top player and a normal player. Most players would have lost their cool there and lost to her comeback when she was so close to winning. With a player like SonicFox, they almost never miss an opening no matter what the momentum looks like at the time.

Peacock drops random objects at the oponent, and that right there is a rare drop, and aswell as a jojo reference - a reference to Dio's Roadroller, a character who has the ability to stop time, randomly throws a road roller at you from the sky, and pounds the sht out of it. Basically, it's just Skullgirls doing its thing

When you tag out an opponent while they're rocking their assist, the assist stays until the opponent finishes their combo, and you can't control the assist, so basically you're helpless. so the damage done to the assist is increased if you do this, with a never ending combo you can kill the assist very easily.

I have barely played the game but I think I can keep track of it as a viewer. When it comes to playing a fighting game though, I tend to only notice things in a small area around my character. I have played lots of Smash Ultimate and Touhou Hisoutensoku, but also watched lots of fighting games in general. I could probably react to a lot of this stuff with enough experience, but assists have always scared me. That is why I prefer the system in Marvel vs Capcom Infinite - you know when your opponent is actually changing characters because there are no assists.

So basically if you start to get combo'ed you just have to accept and watch, no breaks or something like it?

There's a burst but it's very risky and a lot of high levels players will just bait it then punish for another big combo

Damage scales hard enough that your opponent is usually better off going for resets instead of marathon combos. In other words, there are chances to escape, but you have to be ready for them because they're easy to miss.

yeh, skullgirls is def a game where defense is a massive part of it, they consider it one of the best fundamental fighters for that reason. It's so easy to be crossed up, assisted on, reset, etc. You basically will put your controller down for a good 15 seconds if you're against a good player that isn't gonna drop their combo lmao. Not that you should ofcourse, always a small window you might avoid the reset or they might mess up somewhere but yeah, this game is brutal, and pretty sure it still has some infinites in it. Which the system they have built in will always stop a char (outside assist infinite) from dying in a single combo without reset, but you can still put them down to 1hp, lol. You see an assist infinite in this vid think it was 2nd match when lawn does a bad assist and his char just keeps getting juggled, same system used in MvC.
