fantastic...thanks!
I was 13, living in Forest Park, GA, at this time. Had no idea who this band was... or that they would become my favorite band.
Just those first notes are enough to give you the chills jfc
killer set. love it!!
This is amazing.
it's wonderful to recognize the tittles around all the vibe.....!!!! always in tune ....TKX Mr Larsen still der dem spirit
Saw them in Houston in 1991 at numbers. Great show!
One of the best concerts I've seen from any band. These guys were at their best in the late eighties, shows like this are legendary. Wish I could have been there man.

Their early to mid eighties albums were far more original and superior.

@@spookybaba you're free to think that but I'm just not interested in that sort of argument. I pretty much rate everything from Confusion Is Sex thru to Washing Machine a 10/10, everything after WM I rate between a 7 and 9/10. Love em all differently.

@@MadMaxBSobviously, it's mere personal taste. But, thank you for your permission to think what I like. 😂
Lee's guitar bellowing like a dying rhino at the end of Cotton Crown. Unbelievable...
Was at this show and I think they played Athens right before or after. Saw that one too. Still blown away. Was def my favorite band at the time.
I live in Atlanta I was 10 when this show went down. I wish i was as cool at 10 as i am at 37!!!!!!!!! I would have been their!

I like how master dik starts playing on the speakers when they get off stage haha
Saw the show in Athens GA before this one. My friend was with them when they were hassled for weed at a gas station in Lawrenceville GA way before cell phones etc...
Saw them playing in the UK in May '87. Was bored of music up to that point and went along to see what SY were like - I had no idea. Boom - bored no longer!
anyone have good tabs or another video of them playing hotwire my heart, i got the first verse down but can't seem to find a good video of them playing it to figure out the chorus and second verse.

The Smart Bar 1985 record is fucking fantastic. Gila Monster Jamboree is also great for a concert video of that era
Totally agree. At this stage they retained that old-school punk influence of a prominent, gritty, driving bass levels, before the 90s guitar-centric alternative rock relegated bass to a background role. I miss that style...

Well, nowhere will you find better riffs with lots of bass than on Goo. Literally nowhere. Just listen to what great structure they give to Mote, for example.
I love you Vacantmoon !
Kim is looking particularly badass at this show
This is one impressive show - would've loved to see them on this tour, and the tours for Bad Moon, EVOL, and Daydream - that was their creative pinnacle, I think.

I love those early albums. When Daydream came out, I thought they were after a top 20 position. The start of them attempting to be commercial.
i wish limbo would be like this and last an eternity
That Jasper Johns amp is priceless.
the day.
interesting sound on PCH too
Yeah, i saw em when Matt Ibold played bass for em. Love seeing the faces of people react to harsh noise in the audience. lol
After watching this, I'm fairly certain that SY are time travelers.
nice how "Master Dik" comes on on the end
LOL "I GOTTA TICKET TO RIDE C'MON STEVE LET'S PLAY SOME BEATLES" goddamn it Thurston
WHAT CAN YOU DO!! WITH A BRAT LIKE THAT ALWAYS IN YOUR BACK
Hey do ya think ya can hook me up with a copy of this show?

Why the hell is Ron Paul the top recommended vid? DAT SHIT CRAY

kinda depressing in a way, but also awesome. true though.
'schizophrenia'
Lee gets pissed off during Express Way To Yr. Skull because Thurston sings too early before he could slide up on his guitar.
