I’ve actually seen a lot of crazy news about the new Sonic Generations remastered version. I honestly didn’t expect for Shadow to live along with HIS Generations. I’ve seen people talking about this before this game was leaked, like a fan-made “Shadow Generations”. “Sonic X Shadow Generations”? That’s a dope name! Actually sounds like something worthy to check out! It’s also cool that the creator of that “Fall Guys” Sonic game talked about this remastered game. Maybe they might be involved with it? I’m curious to see what this remastered game will contain, the levels, the visuals, the gameplay, and stuff. Now, I’m really interested with all the information given. I actually don’t have Generations myself, so yeah, it definitely is best that I check that out first before I play this remastered version. Also, more mobile Sonic games? That’s awesome! We just had Dream Team in early December, and that game is pretty good. I’m wondering what the point of those will be. It looks like 2024 might be another great year for Sonic. I’m hyped to see what will be made!

This is honestly really insane and I hope SEGA does not lie about this. Sonic X Shadow Generations is a very interesting name for a Sonic Generations remaster. This is no Colors Ultimate situation this is something else. Please give us some Shadow levels.

I love when he’s talking about Sonic X Shadow generations there’s just a pic of a Sonic and Shadow plush making out as he’s explaining the news

I think they could add a shadow level from each game he was playable perhaps sonic adventure 2 radical highway, Shadow 2005 Westopoilis, and Sonic 2006 White Acropolis.

They can straight up do at least 4 and even 5 Shadow exclusive stages depending on if they can find a way or an excuse to include his latest outing. Stages from Adventure 2, Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, 06 and Forces from White Forest to Grand Metropolis, Sky Troops, Flame Core and Eggman's Facility with bosses such as Biolizard, Neo Metal Sonic, Black Doom, Mephilis, and Infinite with maybe Shadow's own original final boss to put a twist on the whole thing.

@@TheBrandedOne2003 It's starting to seem like what someone else mentioned, that this might be a sort of response to Mario 3D World Bowser's Inside Story. Although the difference with this one is that it's clearly not designed with just one big boss and one overarching stage in mind. Rather one overarching boss and concept effecting stages in mind being Black Doom. It's possible Black Doom will be Shadow's Bowser, just in his own way and not some constant Nemesis like threat.

Sonic generations was my first sonic game, and about 3 years ago I had a dream where Sonic Generations: Ultimate was a thing! I woke up and felt an emptiness

If shadow gets a campaign, I would like to see Shadows bosses be either Sonic or the Biolizard, and I would love to see him go against Mephiles again.

It would make the game a bit better if they add the 3ds bosses and stages but we will have to wait and see.

Silver needs more love and respect. Another thing, generations still used the hedgehog engine from how they developed unleashed but then they switched to the forces style and we all know how that turned out. I need to see more about the remaster to feel any type of interest. And maybe a whole new range of different stages and God forbid they don’t start with green hill

The remaster will be fine. The hedgehog engine 2 doesn't change the controls or physics, just the lighting and graphics

If we get like levels from shadow and 06 it should be sky troops and white acropolis and maybe newer sonic games

For sonic lost world sonic forces and sonic frontiers I don’t know

They could even make Shadow proper levels from Forces since he was somewhat a huge part of that story only though we played him for the prologue

Really excited for all of these new Sonic games coming out

ngl it could be a sa2 remaster and saying generation is basically saying that a new "generation" is gonna begin for shadow with sonic movie 3 and this is remembering the old one. I want it to be a new game or at least generations with even MORE remasted levels (kinda like mario booster course pack if u know what I mean)

If sonic x shadow generations it’s a good game. It may be the first official sonic game I buy because on the PS3 I did own the demo version of sonic generations. And I did like the demo gameplay. And Art style the same reason why I didn’t buy frontiers.

⁠@@alternatesonicgameplays3851The vegetation of those stages are all-over the place, but if it’s based off of the different generational era’s of Sonic, then it’s most likely possible. Westopolis shouldn’t be in there, as the same reason dubious depths was removed. There are too many roadblocks.

The Sonic Generations remaster is sounding like a straight up remake.

what if the "generations" part was a red herring because what im not understanding is how shadow fits into generations specifically other than maybe a few "modern shadow" stages. but the whole gimmick for Sonic generations was also the classic stages being act 1. so are we getting modern and dreamcast shadow? or maybe this is alluding to the rumored sonic adventure 2 remake?

Really hope they do more with this than the Colors one. If its just shadow as a playable character and some costumes its an L imo. Still gonna be cool to have the game on newer hardware for people who don't have PCs though.

MAAAN I am PUMPED for sonic this year a lot is going to happen! can't wait!

so we are getting shadow generations pretty much... i hope they add a bunch of cool things to the the game such as new mechanics levels, etc because ive played modded gens with a shadow skin and it wasnt really fun

Adventure 1 and 2 are also missing from the steam sale…hopefully this means something as well.

@@Dan-qb9xk yeah, that sounds weird tbh. But hopefully all the Chao receive graphical updates. Yet I hope the two tone neutral normal second evolutions at least get palette updates. If that's the case then two-tone normal neutral normal fly probably got a color update since the Chao in Space video to be more of a purple color.

@@Dan-qb9xk not to mention it could be a stepping stone before Chao get integrated in another Sonic game. Besides a mobile version of the Tiny Chao Garden that's improved is probably the safest route to take before giving fans a Chao Garden in a 3D game.

To be honest, Colors was an ultimately new game. Think about it! The levels in the Wi version is different. The OG colors wasnt already ready for PC. Generations is my first sonic game and my favorite game so I am thinking they cant mess it up as the OG was already built for PC. Agree?

They should have the time stones from sonic cd and Time sonic/shadow instead of the Chaos emeralds imo. Also I hope it's for switch and ps because I only have a switch console

It made me think... What if it's not a Sonic generations remake and has nothing to do with classic Sonic? What if it's actually a kind of recap of Sonic/Shadow levels from SA2, 05 and 06? Because when people ask for SA2 remaster, I think mostly they think of Shadow and Sonic levels, rather than let's say...mecha levels? In this case it would be a smart move from SEGA imho. Just redo iconic moments with our favorite duo and kill 3 birds with one stone, rather than completely remaster 3 full games from scratch (which would take ages) 🤔

I hope this is good, but based on earlier leaks I was excited and anticipating a NEW game centered around Sonic and Shadow. Hope we can see something like that in the future.

Considering that generation is has Ben stuck on the Xbox and PC for years now I think it's a good idea for a remastered port but not just for the Playstation for the Xbox too it doesn't have to be a Playstation exclusive. I'm kind of excited but I don't really wanna get my hopes up so I'm also kinda nervous for what we're about to get at the state of play live stream xd😅
