If SEGA made Sonic and Amy older then I’m sure the SonAmy ship/pairing would open up numerous storylines to explore. Also the SonAmy ship has blessed us with comedic gold from the fanbase. Loved the movie Amy design and Amy with longer quills.

I think that Sonic , Tails and Amy should be adults in the next game . I am tired of Sega's bullshit of not leting their characters age . I really hate the "ageless character" trope , it's so fucking stupid . And I have fixed Sonic's aging in the games by making Sonic 14 years old the first time he met Robotnik and then 6 years later the events of Sonic Mania happen , 9 years later and the events of Sonic Adventure 1 happen .

Sonic is 15 - 25 Tails is 8 - 18 Amy is 12 - 22 Cream is 6 - 16 Knuckles 16 - 26 (I assume he is older than Sonic) They should be on the verge of self discovery at this point in time and maybe find new things about themselves they never knew! Maybe Tails finds out his ancestors once belonged to a kitsune tribe, and Knuckles goes to find more of his kind hidden away from the world, Amy finds her biological parents, Cream and cheese become freedom fighters and form a new Team, and Sonic...Maybe he can no longer hide his feelings for Amy and finally tells her how he feels and stays by her side adventuring together! I mean a lot can happen in 10 years!
