I really liked the way you interpreted the Hyper Sonic form, instead of just using the "classic" formula that is, just an emerald´s evolution"Super emeralds if i recall right". you actualy came out with an good and solid explanation even considering what tikal/knuckles say every time that they use the master emerald "chaos is power power is enriched by the heart...", and even found an good way to make hyper form "cannon/usable" to the "Modern" Sonic timeline. Him accepting his dark emotions "Dark Sonic" and master both negative/positive energy was really an smart take. Good job, ya really nailed in this sprite animations and atention to the Sonic franchise.

It´s an interesing theory my friend, and it´s plausible and smart to think this way, since well "he dominated light & darkness energy" i liked to think as Super sayan blue. While maintaining his cool/calm posture, nothing can stop him in this stade of mind, and it´s worth notice that Fictional Dreams really have an "good eye", or good knowlege of the Sonic Franchise in general, he gaved an good/solid reason"while leeping tha balance of fan theorie and using sonic adventure light/dark chaos energy to his advantage in the plot" to make Modern Sonic be capable of using hyper transformation with no Super/hyper emeralds "instead of classic Sonic that relies on the 7 Super emeralds" Modern Sonic mastered the positive and negative energy, thus making him far more stronger"think as an super sayan blue or an ssj4, while he mantains his cool, calm and focused state, nothin can beaten him". Also if someone come here saying that i used ssj4 as an bad example, let me say this. While he jokes a LOT on the fight, when the situation is more serious or if he see that his oponent is getting upper hand he will not hold back and fight with all his power.

Ultra instinct is an technique that demands a LOT of the user, while the user is in this state he trades his thought to get more power"pretty mutch let his onw instinct guides him and not doing proper judgment of the current situation, but there is side effect. If this form is used to an long time the user may die or worse. Yes i saw that goku mastered this form, but i am sure"that was partial,since if fully mastered the technique some major pain would be inflicted on him" the side effects remains if he push his luck. Similar to hyper forn that last some time"theres an negative effect that is exaustion and fatigue if the user extend to too long" while in this subject this tecnique i am pretty sure that ultra instinct is unique to goku, as hyper is unique to sonic, both have they unique power and potential to do damage, as for if they fight Sonic would win since we can manipulate time and space thanks to the"Chaos control power+ Master emerald power itself"...But he can´t do that fancy shanigans that ui does"since goku is more skilled in fight and all", also sonic is not weak, since he defeated gods in his base form, soo him using hyper is an overkill. But lets face it. They would NEVER fight each other, only if it´s training/sparing. They would pretty mutch being friends since both share interest in saving the world and eat a lot on the meantime"i mean sonic eating chily dogs of course" and it´s worth notice that sonic kinda slacks when he can, often prefering sleep and all, while goku prefer training. If you look the chaos emeralds power, they in nutshell "put thought into power,literally let they do everything, even mess with the universe"increases the user strenght and let they have unlimited power"act as an power source, or backup energy, like an baterry", i think if goku got atleast 1 it would increases his ui stade and his power, let alone the 7. He would be more stronger than zeno. He needed some time to adapt, as show in sonic in Adventure 2. Edit: If ya really want talk about this kinda stuff, i really advise we "change" plataform, on steam, discord or wharever. Since it will be an loop if ya want ask question to me "i an not too expert"veteran" in sonic, but i know a few things, + i like dbz, even the GT, just saying, it´s kinda weirld chat in youtube, atleast to me".

@@lowlife6606 I will take this as an compliment. But this is mine opinion"some can agree or not" but i will stand firm with arguments"unless ya tell me something that i miss". This topic is kinda hard to come up with an answer, considering that both Goku and Sonic are always getting new moves and getting stronger"but they would never fight to the death, only training" also sonic in power levels is an MESS if it was ARCHIE Sonic goku would insta loss due his high/extreme power that he have(Trust me my friend see it for yourself if ya have some free time to read) i only used the game as an model since he is balanced and is moderate in strength, even defeating an God of Destruction. To be honest i am still to this day to have an cameo/crossover in one game"but i might as well accept that the chances are slim".

13:41 THIS is why Dark Sonic needs to come back. The negative energy is a lesson to not let your dark emotions overcome you, or you become someone you're not. There is SO much potential for the franchise and not only this animation, but pretty much all of the fans work proves it.

Thing is, Dark Sonic was a form exclusive to Sonic X, and considering SEGA and Sonic Team's track record, it's highly unlikely that the form would make it into the game canon.

I'm pretty sure Werehog Sonic was a result of him being pumped full of Dark Gaia energy while Eggman was using the emeralds's power to awaken Dark Gaia

This. THIS is how Infinite should've been in Sonic Forces. I always loved Infinite's concept and design when it came to him and the Phantom Ruby. And believed that he had been underutilized and could've been a much bigger threat than what we got in the games. So to see him being used to the fullest like this and getting the respect he deserves brings a huge smile to my face.

Seriously, the guy was even advertised by SEGA to be the strongest villain up until that point, the fact that no super forms were involved against him is pretty ridiculous I reckon. Infinite wasn't even the top dog for a full game anyway like previous villains have been, the Death Egg Robot was shitting out Infinite clones like a gumball machine, which are said to have power equivalent to the originals. Sega did Infinite dirty, glad that the writers from 2010 onwards are gone.

He wasn't a small threat but it wasn't realistic for him to follow Eggman like a pet... He would have turned on Eggman after the fiest few acts. And he would have made a better villain for Shadow.

@@trollwist8867 first, how the f*ck the phantom ruby is stronger than the emeralds? When sonic and the custom character beated it without then, two, sonic can't be hyper without the super emeralds, and three, the negative and positive power of the emeralds are not compatible.

some sonic animators handling of infinite: makes infinite get a power up and becomes rly rly powerful that i takes hyper sonic or makes infinite rly strong that he can go toe to toe with super sonic while giving him a ending that he in peace sega and sonics team handling of infinite: gives him a piss poor backstory, makes him a joke of a villain, holds him back and his boss fights make him rly easy to beat and was forgotten and died off screen

I really like how instead of Sonic and Shadow fighting enemies that they have defeated over the years they fight their friends too

Gotta love how Infinites actions effect other timelines.

well, the 'unification' of two things that cannot mix together(in this case, positive and negative energy) often turns out to be, you guessed it, _chaotic._ if Chaos Energy is truly the energy of the chaos itself, then this is the most effective way there is to use it.. by finding balance within the unbalanced.

As cool as that sounds, it simply wouldn't work. For starters, the Super form is never meant to be shown going all out, (at least not right now, doesn't help that the thing hasn't been used against a final boss since Generations) even gods such as Solaris and Dark Gaia didn't even make the Superhogs fight seriously. I sincerely doubt Infinite could push a Super form that far, hell, it's debatable if he can push Sonic or Shadow into going Super at all, seeing how he was essentially dying after his final fight, and that Sonic then took on (and was doing most of the heavy lifting) against Eggman, who had surpassed Infinite with the MDER. As for the last part, yeah, there's no way. The other characters mean nothing, the gap between characters such as Knuckles and Omega to the Super forms is far too big, I mean, multiple *infinities* big. If a villain can push a character into turning Super, then there's no hope for the non-super characters to even make the villain flinch, just saying.

Last I checked, didn't the battle with dark Gaia make Sonic faint out of his Super form, that shows Sonic was using a lot of power when battling alongside with the Gaia Colossus

Mario's newest game (even though it was released in 2017) introduced a capture mechanic changing the Mario gameplay while still retaining the Mario kid friendly charm. Also, I don't feel like it's fair to hate on one of gaming's most iconic and beloved franchises. I'm not really a big fan of Mario but I still appreciate the impact Mario had in the past.

The Phantom Ruby Prototype is so strong, it affected other timelines and changed Sonic and Shadow's sprites.

I love this, amazing job! You made infinite so cool, and actually defined the power of the phantom ruby. everyone felt in-character. this kicked ass!

I feel like this is some sort of prime universe because of how strong everyone is and I feel like sonic got some sort of complete hyper form at the end because of how he actually got the form (by mixing the dark and super forms).

Alternative title: if infinite was just better :/

I gotta say, THIS IS SOME HECK OF A GOOD ANIMATION

Take notes sega, awesome idea remembering that chaos emeralds have negative and positive energy, defeating infinite by removing the phantom ruby. This one animation is more enjoyable that a playable sonic game with 3 characters. One word. NOICE.

12:42 Now that was badass. I love Infinite’s theme and him using his lyrics to tell Sonic he has the upper hand just makes this right.

Alright, that was pretty cool. My only criticism is that there was a bit too much empty space in a lot of scenes. Could probably be fixed by zooming in the camera in those parts, but besides that this was awesome!

Epic animation! I love how you made Sonic unify both the positive and negative of the emeralds.That's an idea I've had in my head for quite some time. Also King Boom Boo being in the 'phantom' ruby makes sense. He turned into Kurama XD. I was waiting for you to hopefully finish the Infinite vs Sonic and Shadow animation. @Ursu Matei In nazo unleashed (not canon) dark sonic was able to physically harm nazo who scaled to super sonic and super shadow and those forms weren’t doing squat to nazo until they went hyper (non canon transformation in the series)

This is just my idea. But instead of being able to create objects with chaos energy, dark sonic should be able to syphon chaos energy

the fight choreography was really good but I think the music could have been timed better and the music used could have been better too, more of the black knights vocal tracks would have done this animation some good I also think the animation at time was pretty stiff and much better effects could have been used but what really made me enjoy this animation was the choreography which i seriously think you nailed, but other things could be fixed IMO

That was pretty impressive, in Sonic's hyper form, it's hyper fast, and completely indestructible.

1- made infinite and phantom ruby be better 2- not an mistake but on the op of unleashed sonic used the emeralds to get into eggman, so he cant "call" them 3- impressive use of dark shadow from his game and light speed dash sonic 4- very cool to see what the phantom ruby in theory can do, since its main power is to affect the reality itself 5- you really did a way to actually canonize hyper sonic(just need a way to be different than super), since the super form was sayed of sonic using the positive, and dark was the time where he was full of negative, if metarex could get canon that would be a very good thing to see 6- you really did a good work reading the wiki and making use of past abilities from sonic and shadow

The sprite animation from 5:11 reminds me of Final Fantasy Sonic X a lot

Love how ever since Sonic RPG Episode 10 Hyper Sonic has sort of come back into the spotlight.

I'm gonna be honest my guy! Out of the many Sprite Animations I've seen of Sonic and exploring higher levels of power, you as of now are BY FAR the best I've seen! Believe me, there has been many wacky scenarios people put Sonic in to the point of absurdity for its own good! *(Be sure to click read more)* But you? You find a method to tie everything together with the material you have to work with and you don't go overboard! Well.... except for Infinite burning the MULTIVERSE into ashes but I can understand that bit due to the fact the Phantom Ruby screws with reality and could've simply cancelled out the super forms! Otherwise, what I like about yours is its not all cracked up and its down to Earth as it can be! Well done =D

OK I like the theory of the Phantom Ruby running off negative energy, but I wasn't expecting King BOOM Boo to dwell within it though. According to a very interesting video about the Phantom Ruby, the one who'd have creating it would have been Imperator Ix. I instantly bought that theory because 1: the Phantom Ruby was found in Angel Island in the first place. 2 : I love Sonic Chronicles. Sorry for the ranting, I was just surprised to see King BOOM Boo again. Anyways : awesome video! Sonic Forces should have been like this.
