Sonic the Hedgehog 30th Anniversary (IN 200,000 DOMINOES!)

This year marks the 30th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog. To celebrate the blue blur I constructed one of the largest projects I’ve ever made in honor of the mainline Sonic games on the Sega Genesis.
Just for some retrospect, I started working on this video in early January! Even though I worked on other projects in between, I can undoubtedly say that this is one of my favorite videos I’ve ever made. This is easily one of the videos I’ve put the most time and effort into as well.
Overall work for this video was spread amongst 6 months, had a total of 23 individual setups, which when combined consisted of 221,040 dominoes. This video is dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog and the Sega Genesis line of games. I originally planned on having this video finished and uploaded on Sonic’s actual 30th Anniversary, but I wanted to take a little more time to implement a few more segments into the video. In total, work for this video was spread amongst 6 months. I’m really happy with the effort I put into this project. I’d easily rank this as one of my favorite videos I’ve ever made. Also, it seems KZread’s algorithm is recommending my channel and videos less often, likely due to me not uploading as frequently this year.
