This game really was throwing both US. and Japan sonic stuff together. I think this was also the only game until lost world that showed how the little animals were turned into badniks. Although here it looks more like the roboticizer instead of simply placing the animal in a robot like a battery.

That’s funny, I’ve been grinding this game a lot lately These bosses are super creepy

I remember playing this game back in the 90s. I thought it was underrated.

I wonder what the hell was the graphic design dudes when making this game, pretty much almost everything is nightmare fuel

There are worse offenders like the Void Queen but yeah, in the 16-bit era, these were pretty unsettling

Yeah I was confused what to do when I played it the first time

I just noticed in the minigame sections that Sonic has the US design where he has a "mohawk" set of quills as opposed to the rest of the game having his traditional spikes.

The game sometimes can be disturbing and oddity unsettling and the game also kind of feels like a dream accidentally exist like a fun nightmare

The whole art style is way more strange and dark than sonic usually is, it’s weird.

The first boss has a shocking resemblance to Eggman’s current face

I’m glad to know that this version of Robotnik wears glasses, which means this is the Eggman we all know and love.
