The fact that they made this game in the doom engine is irresponsibly amazing, lol. I used to make custom WADs for doom when I was younger, I took one look at this game and thought to myself "Wow that looks so cool! Almost like it's made in the doom engine or something!" and turns out it is. Such a crisp look, and the way that the doom editor is utilized to make sonic levels is simply genius. Then mods like this get made and wow. Such a great game and community!

Sonic and tails have the enough power on their dabs to create earthquakes. So smooth.

This game engine is just so amazing. People are making such incredible things with it. Wish wed go back to making rpgs with enginws like this. Imagine a modernized daggerfall that maintains the original games look by using an engine like this one.

I have this mod and I’ll say this: if you have the botskin mod when using pointy sonic and fluffy tails you can drag around any character and it is hilarious. If you need a good laugh try doing that.

I do love this mod very much, its sprite work is absolutely impeccable so much effort went into really making this feel like a version of Saturn Sonic, on top of all of its other little touches and flourishes. Its a master class piece of work and is a heck of a way to play SRB2… But I REALLY, REALLY wish they included a setting to turn off the damn squealing sound Pointy Sonic makes when he peels out. I get it, Sonic has like, frictionless shoes or whatever, but it’s so annoying and ruins what should be the most high octane moments of playing as Sonic. Don’t get me wrong, everything else is fantastic!! It’s an awesome mod! One of the best Alt Sonics out there!! But that one damn thing gets me every time when I play with this mod. It’s like nails on a chalkboard to me, I swear. The mod already has a menu! If there was a toggle for that one thing I would love this mod 200% more.

HE PUT IN A THOUSAND MODE! not really just kidding but, A LOT OF MODS!

I experienced the super forms first hand. And YOOOOOOOOOOO THE FLICKIES ARE BACK! *WAIT, THEY'RE DIFFERENT COLORS TOO! THIS MOD IS AMAZING!*
