Sonic Riders Zero Gravity - Aquatic Capital - Nights 4K 60 FPS

Hooray!!! I can finally record TAS videos from Zero Gravity with the new revision of Dolphin! It's been, like, 6-7 years since I wanted to be able to do that but older revisions just wouldn't work when it came to recording TAS videos from this game. Now that it is finally possible to do that...you know what that means? That means, I can record the gameplay like I always do and only then max out graphical settings in Dolphin to record in THE HIGHEST possible quality. EVER! Here's my first video of this kind. Unlike all of my previous Zero Gravity gameplay videos (I did record the first Riders in real 4K), which were upscaled to 4K from 1080p, this one IS 4K and with the highest graphical settings applied. Look at this gorgeous stuff:
Native x8 (5120:4224) for 5K
Screen Resolution: 3840x2160
Anti-Aliasing: 8x SSAA
Anisotropic Filtering: 16x
FPS: 60 fps
Like I said, absolutely gorgeous stuff even though it does require quite some time to record even a short video (I think the recording speed is somewhere around 2-3 frames per second, sometimes slightly more)! Basically, I used the same settings when recording my previous video from Shadow the Hedgehog (Prison Island Dark Mission).
The only problem is the codec. New revisions of Dolphin use the FFV1 lossless codec for the dump frames feature and while my video player opens it without any issues, Sony Vegas does not, so I have to use Virtual Dub to convert the video to lossless .avi and the file size is...Let's say it's more than 200 GB. And that's just to import the video to Vegas. After that I need to sync it with the sound and edit the music in. All in all, several hours just for a 3 minute video. Insane amount of time and effort, if you ask me. Oh well, at least I didn't have to work on the preview image as much as I had to for my last couple of ZG videos (there's editing involved).
If anyone knows the way to make Vegas support the FFV1 codec, please, let me know, I would really appreciate any help.:)

You know what hurts? To this day, SEGA is still referencing NiGHTS in other games, but they'll NEVER make another NiGHTS game again! It's a shame, because while the series has had many flaws, there was always this really nice charm to it. And it has SO MUCH POTENTIAL to be so much more! To be so much more ambitious!

Ice is Nice NiGHTS is technically genderless but Sega practically gave people the option to think what NiGHTS could be in their eyes there's no wrong answer. If you think NiGHTS is male you're right, if anybody else thinks he/she/it is female, both or the flippin Hubble Space Telescope then they're right too

NiGHTS racing through a futuristic version of Aqua Garden from NiGHTS Journey of Dreams.
One thing I love about this level is using flight characters. When I fly, I like stay in the air and float around the corner before landing. It’s so cool. Also before I get to the finish line, I stay in the air going through the rings. So satisfying
I love that NiGHTS can play this level like one in their home game

Check out Sonic Riders Regravitation if you haven't already. It's a mod for this game that basically improves a ton of stuff wrong with the game and adds tons of cool new features. Search it up on KZread it's amazing.
I love Nights so freaking much I main it in All Stars racing transformed, (along with Reala) and I main it in the Riders games. I'm saying it because Nights is genderless

Nights. (Nights: Journey Of Dreams)
Another beautiful water stage to behold! As for the song, it's from Vectorman? Now that brings back at least some memories! The last time I've ever heard that name was from Sega Smashpack for the Dreamcast and that was about 15 years ago! True, it only had the demo version for Vectorman but still, just seeing that name and the image of that green spherical dude is nostalgic enough for me!

I always liked using Nights with the hover boots, sure it was totally impractical, I just liked the way it looked.
I'm surprised that nights VA from NIGHTS journey of dreams wasn't voicing them.

Спасибо! Это вообще TAS (tool assisted speedrun), но я бы и сам прошёл не хуже, просто потребовалось бы больше времени и я не смог бы записать видео в таком высоком качестве.

And Sonic doesn't need a car. However according to Sega the official explanation for that one is "because it's cool", so it's likely the reason why NiGHTS has a board.
you can use handbrake to convert the ffv to h.264 and then have vegas manipulate the resulting MP4.
I only remember nights from that one casino level from sonic adventure dx
I love this game, but for some reason when I play it, it feels like the gear goes slow
I am still shocked no one has ripped the model for this extreme gear and put it on Models Resource (or even NiGHTS themself, though I assume it's just reused from JoD)
