It would be cool if SEGA made a Modern Sonic game where Metal Sonic is the main villain and different versions of him are his own HBH. That would be awesome.

That and Super Mario Bros. Z made Mecha Sonic even more memorable not to mention ruthless and over-the-top. Yeah, I watched those years ago and I still rewatch them when I feels nostalgic. :)

@@MariusUrucu Yep. So the one from S&Knuckles, the one from Sonic 2 Genesis, the small ones here from Sonic 2 Game Gear, and that one in a tube alongside Metal Sonic in the Egg Carrier in Sonic Adventure DX are all Mechas

Devan Archer well i checked out and you could be right because all Sonic-like robots (except Metal Sonic) are named mecha Sonic in Japan but in Sonic Adventure a sonic-like robot appear and his name is unknown. Oh and little fun fact: in lego dimesion the Mecha Sonic that you fight in Death Egg zone is named Robo Sonic

You should’ve added an “Ill crush you!” Sound effect to the last phase of the battle when Mecha Sonic “Roared”

Yeah, you're probably right. Couldn't actually stretch this fight longer to play the full song without the gameplay being forced. But I think I synced with the music pretty well for the most part. :)

Even though the Mecha Sonics from 2 and 3K are pretty cool looking, their boss fights are too easy. Metal Sonic’s fights are more fun to play if you ask me. Also metal sonic is actually a character with a personality and motivation.

Nice, actually the Metal Sonic battle is very fitting for the final boss. Now it has become even more fitting because Mecha Sonic takes over as the final boss (which is the final boss as Knuckles in Sonic 3 & Knuckles) and the remix of the final boss music. Hands down, it's the perfect remix for the final boss.

Mecha Sonic is way more intimidating at his regular size. Going giant is really below him, and that's where the fight got lame.

I kinda wish it had edited sprites, so that it would kinda fit with mania. Despite that, epic mod.

Spider Ninja Whereas I only like Mecha Sonic because it looks cool and the fight against it is amazing in sonic 3 & knuckles (the one where it turns super (when you’re playing as knuckles))
