The TRUE "Hyper Sonic in Mania" mod returns from SHC 2022!
HYPERMANIA is a mod for the Sonic Mania decompilation by Rubberduckycooly and st×tic that adds fully featured hyper forms into the game! no compromises like missing Super Flickies or half-broken palette cycling are present, (almost) everything is here and accounted for!
Each Hyper form has an innate ability to never drown as well as a unique Hyper Ability for each character. The Hyper Abilities for the main 3 are carried over from S3&K with alterations here and there while Mighty and Ray have new abilities exclusive to HyperMania. More information can be found in the MANUAL.md file included in the mod.

Eukaryot - Sonic 3 AIR code that was used as a reference for several objects found in the mod (specifically SuperFlicky, HyperStars, and HPZIntro)
Tee Lopes - Sonic Forces Theme Unofficial Remix (Hyper theme)
KiaraGale - Underwater Hyper palettes, inactive Super Emerald sprite, HPZ teleporter tiles
jubbalub + Hydropper - Super Emerald sprites, Super Ring palette, initial HPZ emerald cave map
Axanery - GameConfig.bin used in legacy builds

Why?
If this game actually had Hyper Sonic, it would have both Hyper & Super be accessed differently. Super Sonic would only cost 50 rings (obviously), but hyper could cost cost somewhere between 75 or 100 rings. & hyper would guzzle down rings faster. (My idea isn’t good, but it’s something I came up with just now)

Well in rev two ver 5.00 if u get a hundred rings as sonic with all seven chaos emeralds Sonic becomes this blue super sonic

Hyper Sonic was going to be in Mania but was scrapped.
I love that it uses Tee Lopes Fist Bump cover, thats perfect!
The special stages from encore mode are perfect for obtaining super emeralds.

In the PC version of Mania, the developers left a way to access match 3 instantly with out obtaining blue spheres, i think it's tje "Y" or "Triangle" on controllers, on keyboard it should be your superform button, or Y (in my case).
