The Heavies were a neat concept and probably some of the most memorable new Sonic characters in recent history, which is why SEGA has decided not to mention them ever again

Everybody remembers their first time hearing the Hard Boiled Heavies theme in Studiopolis Zone. It's weird to consider this a boss theme. It's just wacky fun.

Only just realised the Hard Boiled Ninjas sound effects sound exactly like the shuriken sound effects in the Revenge of Shinobi, mind blown!

ANOTHER fun fact: there was a rom hack of sonic 1 where you played as a motobug, the creator of the hack was called jimmy and he died on a car accident. The rom hack was quite popular and some made theories about the ''jimmy'' motobug in mania being a reference to the rom hack and its creator

Really wished Heavy Gunner Fight was longer. Some of the hard boiled heavies could get even more upgrades in next instalment. Heavy Magician for example could make for an awesome rush fight with all the enemies Sonic has fought in games and comics besides the Trio.

This was done when the Plus expansion wasn't there yet, I did this in only one playthrough so I just did it with Knuckles, you can't change the character until you either start another playthrough or Encore Mode if you find a Combi Monitor.

WE ALL REMEMBER THE THEME COS OF THE HEAVY GUNNER. THAT BOSS WAS THE HARDEST ONE IN THE GAME. BECAUSE OF THE HIGH SPEED PLUS HOW SLOW THE MISSILES MOVE

We remember because it's catchy, and Heavy Gunner is one of the easiest bosses (it's still a cool boss, just very easy)

He uses Mecha Sonic's charge up on the Master Emerald before he powers his scepter fully hit him as many times at that point, for the leader of the heavies he sure is easy, easier than the others since they can be tough, the laser is easily dodged.

Ok so let me get this straight. Heavy Gunner: Studiopolis Heavy Shinobi: Press garden Heavy Magician: Mirage Saloon Heavy Rider/Heavy King: LAVA REEF???? THEY WERE SO CLOSE!!! There should have been a new level for each heavy. And they were on track to do that until Lava Reef just throws Rider and King to the side for a reused zone 😭 why couldn’t they have made one more zone? Idk man just doesn’t make sense to me. But all that aside, good job on the boss fights.
