Fun fact about Ball Hog: originally they were in Green Hill Zone and instead of shooting balls forwards, they dropped balls downwards. This verion of the Ball Hog was previously only ever seen in early screenshots, but recently, a beta build of StH1 was uncovered which contained this early Ball Hog.

Sonic News Network says "Ghola" and you are referring to the Sonic 2 (16 bit) manual on "Sol".

Matryoshka-Bom is based on the sonic cd version not the star light BOMB. BOMB is in the game but cut same for orbinaut,stegways and that dragon from hidden palace dont know many of the badnik names.
