Wii supports Widescreen Wii remote buttons The resolution is lower It's almost perfect ! The only missing things is the motion controls But other then that this is the most accurate way of how the Wii version of the games looks like

Fun Fact: Sonic Colors was originally the wii port for Sonic Generations but it was changed into a very differant game

Honestly that’s interesting since a grew up with sonic colours as the first sonic 3-D game I played it’s actually quite interesting. What would be like an alternate universe if I grew up with generations on the Nintendo Wii

That's not a fact, that's just something you made up. Sonic Colors came out before Generations and even got a level in generations. Couldn't have originally been the Wii port of unleashed either, as that game has a Wii version too.

PSP was also going to have a port of Generations, but unfortunately it was canceled and didn't become another game like the Wii & DS. The 3DS ended up replacing the PSP port afterwards.

@@gustavoclares9703 what I meant is Colors is not generations because even its levels are featured in Generations there is a 1 year between them even in development and yes I do know about the PSP port the game was also meant to be called Sonic Anniversary instead of Generations

Eh idk, I love Sonic Colors just as much as the next guy, but then again, it would’ve been interesting if Generations really got a Wii port.

The Wii does support 4:3, but most games are in widescreen 16:9 so that’s why I went with that

I I've wanted Sonic Generations to be Wii but they instanted they decided to make it in 3DS so that's why Sonic Generations decided to make remake version of Sonic Generations maybe in the future we will get Sonic Unleashed ultimate and don't forget a SA1 Remastered

Can somebody help me i have the issue with this game that it doesnt do what i want when i want to wich means that when i click a button on a controller i need to click it several times everytime i want to do something it happens onky with this game i obly fixed the config tool by adding a word "brake" to something i disabled every mod and i see how about codes maybe this will work

A Wii version omitted Crisis City for a level of Secret Rings or Black Knight. In addition to the fact that Silver's battle would be replaced by Jet or Shade. And the cherry on the cake: AN EXCLUSIVE FIGHT AGAINST MARIO! Being the final boss of the game and difficult to be secret.

I think it’s probably possible to connect a Wii remote to Steam, so technically yes lol. But for this video, I was just using an Xbox One controller

Well, I could’ve used the low end mod but then again, I already used that for the PS2 version and also I ran the game at 480p, which is lower than the Xbox 360’s 720p resolution so I honestly don’t know how I can make this look anymore accurate than it already does. If you want to try, be my guest.

@Jet Set Sonic Yes, but this one is more realistic as people really do underestimate the Wii’s power. I mean, just look at Super Mario Galaxy and Sonic Colors those games fit on the Wii and they were gorgeous, so the low end mod is really unrealistic.

Exactly “Sonic Beyond”. That’s what I say all the time. Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, plus Sonic Colors were all gorgeous Wii games. And they pushed it to its limits.
