Hey Sam, I was wondering if you would make a Sonic Movie 2 in-depth review like you did with Sonic Movie one in 2021, when your not having a lot going on. Also, because Sonic Movie 2 turns two years old in April, it would be good to get out a review before Sonic Movie 3. Let me know what you think.

I don't really have any predictions, but since you did mention that they're adding songs to the symphony setlist, I'm really hoping they add the main theme of Sonic Dream Team because they did something similar with the Sonic Superstars theme at the symphony, so I'm hoping they can do the same with Dream Team's main theme because I LOVE that song, and I would really like to see it implemented because I'm going to the symphony in June. Unfortunately, I don't have a Twitter account but I hope somebody else can recommend it for me!

Adding more online components to superstars should definitely be something they do. Considering how in the main game most of your rewards for exploring are medals, which are tied to the online.

sonic is going crazy this decade, so happy to see them embrace the idea of more content if you remember, iizuka said something about wanting a timeline where sonic is seen everyday! while it isnt everyday, its certainly very often btw i love how your video thumbnails look! you match each game's style so well with the font and such

I think a Sonic and Shadow game would be really cool! I think there’s a lot of potential to expand on both of them in a meaningful way, and I think it would lend itself to a pretty fun experience overall! I can’t wait to see what happens as far as the games for next year goes! Also I HAVE TICKETS FOR THE SYMPHONY THIS SUMMER AND IM SO EXCITED!!! AGGHHHHH

My wishlist for this year is: - Superstars DLC (hopefully Chaotix) - more games in Sonic Origins PLUS PLUS - Announcement of a new Sonic anime. ... what the heck... a sort of Platform Fighter too.

the anime prediction one hurts... if ONLY!!! we've been clamoring for a decent budgeted 2D animated series for a long time now

I've said it since 2022 the future only looks better every year, even if the quality improvement is overall pretty slow we're getting somewhere big especially with the alleged Shadow game I can feel it 👍

Seeing the recent growth in your channel and the quality getting better, alongside with you participating in more events and videos officially is really great to see. Speaking of the Knuckles series, I don’t know if they will do it, but it could have been such a great way to introduce a lot of the supporting characters. A lot of people are saying the Chaotix could have showed up, and I agree with that but I got to thinking that since Vector has a thing for Vanilla, maybe she is there secretary and that means Cream is around the Chaotix a lot. And Rouge could be the bad guy for the Knuckles show. An infamous Jewel thief the Chaotix have been on the search for and they meet up with Knuckles on Earth to get his help capturing her. Maybe the chaotix and everyone decide to move in with Wade. Now, if these characters were to appear in Sonic movie 3 they would be relegated to the role of background characters, expect for Rouge, since there is so much that will probably be happening in that movie,still rather have them than not.

I want the next Sonic game to combine the level design from Dream Team with the Spin-dash from Frontiers. Dream Team’s levels were extremely addicting and the Spin-dash fixed my issues with the Boost formula. 2024 is gonna be great!

I especially think that Shadow will be concerned with The End, the Humans and Mobians should literally saw a purple moon (or what they imagines death) close to the earth then explode, I doubt that Shadow will not try to investigate and go see what Sonic did

Honestly, Shadow having his own game again would be awesome and make a lot of sense marketing wise. I’m hoping that there will be either a remaster or a proper rerelease of Sonic Adventure. Having the original Dreamcast version with a mix of what the DX port added would be cool! Like, if we had the option to switch between utilizing the original Dreamcast assets or the DX assets, I think that would be really neat. Additionally, if a remaster of both Adventure games were to happen… I would want them to take as much time as possible because they are legacy titles.

I would melt if we got a shadow the hedgehog 2 without the guns and the frontiers combat system/open world gameplay

I want SA3 as well! I have a crazy prediction to make. Considering sonic movie 3 releases in December of this year, I’m going to predict that NORAD, Paramount and SEGA will do a collaboration to track Santa and not only that have sonic on some of the NORAD Tracks Santa for the 2024 Santa Tracking Season! Nana was that they might do something where if we call Norad someone like sonic tails, knuckles or maybe even shadow would answer our phone calls! (This is just a prediction, not expecting that coming from the military but I’ll be cool to see)

Frontiers needs a remake in 20 or so years. I’d love to see their vision perfected at some point in time. The game still doesn’t feel finished after all the updates. With every W was an L, and by trying to patch those Ls, sonic team created newer Ls or accelerated old ones. I hope that this is the experiment they needed to create a truly great game and I hope Sonic finds his footing in open zone. But once they’ve perfected that, this game, its story, ideas, and potential is so great that I would love for them to revisit it once they’ve mastered the type of gameplay they were going for and we can finally see frontiers in all its glory. But, for now, let’s hope the next mainline Sonic games are the best they can be

Sadly I don’t believe anything G.U.N. Related is gonna be in the shadow game or many Sonic games going forward, they still seem to wanna pull away from anything pertaining to Shadow (2005) Eggman said in the twitter takeover that during forces he made G.U.N. dissolve

My bets on the knuckles show might come out in the summer

Okay, better go for parts: 1) Sonic Superstars is definitely getting more content, someone checked the root files and a Shadow skin alongside an Amy skin were revealed. But if anything, I want a Plus expansion with Fang, I want to see what they do with this guy considering he's been the most hyped part of the reveal. 2) We're definitely going to see new mobile games now that HardLight proved their worth as a subsidiary, maybe after they milk the Angry Birds franchise for all it's worth we'll see something interesting. 3) First off, why does Shadow need a new game exploring his past AGAIN? He moved on from it, and I think the fanbase should do the same, if he's going to have a new game, make it about something else. And second, I think other characters could benefit more from having a standalone game, Sonic and Amy have no dynamic anymore because of Frontiers and I want Sonic Team to fix that. 4) More Sonic media could be excellent, especially after Sonic Prime, maybe a new series (this time 2D animated) under Madhouse could be great.

If we get a new Sonic and Shadow game, I don't think it will be on the scale as a mainline Sonic game. I think while Sonic Team works on the next Mainline game, Some of Sonic Team and another studio will make the Sonic and Shadow game. I feel like it would be on a smaller scale, like an entire game thats basically the sa2 speed stages. 2-4 hours long.

I agree, it's just too little time for another full scale project like Frontiers, and if it were to still take after the open zone formula from Frontiers, it would most likely be just one map like in Final Horizon.

I just want the symphony to come to Australia. We miss out on so much stuff that gets released in most other major regions so to have even one show down under would be amazing. I live in Brisbane on the East coast but I would do the 5.5hr flight to Perth on the west coast if that was the only venue available (it would more likely be Sydney or Melbourne but you catch my drift)

One thing that I definitely want in the sonic series is no more solo sonic games. At least not as much for a long time. The last decade literally screwed everyone and Sonic ended up the blind fate the whole time.

I think the chance for a sonic and shadow game is pretty high especially for sonic movie 3 advertisement. Even if it’s just more of a shorter 2-3 hour long game like colours or generations, wether they will have a lot of open zone stuff idk, depends on how many people worked on it and how long they have had, if it even exists, don’t wanna get my hopes too high just in case. Superstars dlc is pretty high. Knuckles series and final season of Prime I’m exiting for and Sonic movie 3 I’m super hype. 💙❤️

Some great thoughts here. A Shadow project absolutely makes sense. I don't think Sonic Movie 3 will be the final installment though. They'll keep churning these out for as long as there's an audience. Look at Transformers!

The only thing I don't get is why you are so sure this is going to be "the last movie". The don't call it a cinematic universe now for nothing. More movies and shows with the same characters, style, and universe are clearly coming.

I think what we actually need for this year is a team Dark only game. More towards an investigation/action game considering GUN would be involved. I think it would be so cool. And if not this year then early 2025, right after the movie comes out

I think I'm late with saying this, but a correction. The Knuckles Paramount+ Show isn't about Knuckles with Tom, but it was about Knuckles training Wade (the comic relief character). It has been so long since that synopsis came about, but yeah. Just a reminder. I still am concerned about that, especially since I didn't really Wade that funny (well, at least one scene with him and Robotnik in the first Sonic movie). Let's just see where this goes when that show comes out.

With a potential new Sonic and Shadow game, I’m hoping Sonic Team will bring back some competitive multiplayer into the mainline games. Having an SA2 style of offline/online races with Sonic and Shadow would be nice. I’m sure a lot of kids who watch Sonic Movie 3 will want to debate who is faster/better. What better way to test their mettle with some multiplayer.

I think a sonic and shadow could be a small 4-8 hour game like you said but a Sonic story and Shadow and will cross paths or switch characters at times

My predictions for Sonic's 2024 are Fang in Superstars DLC, nothing major on the mobile side outside of movie and Prime events, a new IDW mini series for 1/2 of the characters originating from the comic, as well as no immediate Frontiers acknowledgement, and in-game promotional material for Superstars (potentially Frontiers aswell) celebrating SM3.

I really, REALLY hope that one of the mobile games that gets announced is a Chao Garden mobile game. I think that's an easy cash chao considering how cute and marketable they are, and how Sonic Team is well aware that Chao Garden is HIGHLY requested to come back by the fans. Fingers crossed for this year :)

The customizable characters need to comeback in the next open zone title. Forces does not work with customizable characters due to not really having a free roam and role-playing aspect. even the concept art from forces shows the avatars were supposed to have more advanced and more detailed character creation. I want the customizable characters to comeback.

Shadow has to have something this year. Sega saw the hype behind him being in the 3rd movie. We need a game where we play as Shadow, and it’s not garbage like Shadow the Hedgehog.

As for the shadow game, I really hope they go with more adventure styled gameplay. 3d momentum based gameplay has SO much more potential and depth than boost gameplay. We’ve had boost games for a while now, and I think it’s time they take another crack at the adventure formula

While I would be down with a Sonic Superstars plus I don't think it will get a plus but I do think it might get more costumes and maybe some patches But the reason I don't think it will get a plus version is cause it was $60 dollars on launch and usually the reason they do a plus version is to make it the $60 version of the games like mania plus and origins plus where as superstars is already $60 so that's the first reason I don't think we will get a plus version The other reason I don't think it will get a plus version is because superstars already had physical versions of the game where as Mania and origins only got a physical version of their plus versions And since superstars already has physical versions that's the other reason I don't think a plus will happen But Its not impossible it still might happen

I agree with everything except sonic movie 3 being the last one. The second one outgrossed the first and im anticipating the 3rd will do it again. Paramount is known for lots of sequels like transformers and mission impossible, so as long as the movies get butts in seats i see them continuing to make sonic movies. I also dont know if they would fund a tv show spinoff unless they saw a future for that movie franchise.

It took us 5 years to get frontiers, we're not getting another open zone game until 2026 the earliest and we honestly shouldn't. Sonic Team needs as long as they can get for the big mainline sonic releases The shadow game should be on more linear and on a smaller scale kind of like how we had the storybook games alongside the big 3d games at the time
