Sonic and Amy have actually been getting along since Lost World. Amy's change in personality is the only positive to come out of the 2010-2017 games that I could think of.

Quick list: Couldn't set a proper tone, sonic being jokey and untouched despite being terribly tortured for a period of time as an example Tails had his character reverted back to step one blatantly 2d sonic is just there for 2d levels and doesn't add much of anything Infinite is considered a wasted character The avatar is oc bait Gameplay was rather generic for sonic, there are basically 3 eggman bots period as an example Wasted opportunities, no chaos fight for example Levels were designed to be short and numerous, following a quantity over quality type thing This is all I can remember about people's gripes with it, it's fine to like it though, the music is good as always
