I liked the voicelines, it really complements the song. Generally theyre like small fun details, but in this case I dont think this edit would be quite the same without them. Now, if you allow me. you know, back then, when I saw the end in videos, I thought it was a weak boss, but after playing frontiers, examine it front to back, I get it, I get it all, think about all of sonic's best bosses, while some are Eggman, Most are not Eggman, they are either monsters, or cosmic monsters, The biolizard, Chaos, Dark gaia, Black doom and the Black arms, iblis and Solaris, all are monster or cosmic entity, And the end is no exception, Destroying the ancients home planet, and now setting its sights at earth itself, and the words it said rings heavily on what it is, and it's honestly haunting. 3:00 - 5:19 And to "The end" itself, I have something I want to say, "No Matter what you do, There will always be a Spark That won't go out"

From a mechanical standpoint, it also fits with Modern Sonic's habit of the final Super Sonic fight playing nothing like the other bosses (From Perfect Chaos onward, really) but being a blend of gameplay elsewhere. Here, it just straight up being Ikaruga is a great send-up and fits with the themes of Sonic and Sage, Light and Dark, combining to fight the entropy of the End.

I hope the idea of having a final boss theme be substantially different than the previous boss themes can be used more, The End reminds me of Daemon X Machina where the whole ost was metal just to drop an orchestral final boss track out of nowhere. Even if The End was not satisfying to many as a final boss, the theme still has a special kind of power to it,

It felt like there was meant to be so much more but there wasn't enough time to put it all in. But now knowing the fact that the devs are gonna rework it gives me so much hope that the End will be a much more interesting final boss.

I'm glad that this song is getting more. It's super underrated, and I like how instead of them going to a song that goes hard right away, like Endless Possibilities, Reach for the Stars, What I'm Made Off, etc, they went for a more melancholy song approach instead, which I feel is much better. It gives you the idea that The End is the strongest threat Sonic has ever faced (Ignore the boss fight and look at the lore, and you will see). I hope they make this boss fight more cool, heck, I would not even mind if they did a Star Dream Soul OS from Kirby Planet Robobot, and made the fight a 3d bullet shooter, but Star Dream had far more stuff going on... Edit: Like Star Dream was actively trying to ram you out of space and summoning meteors out of portals. And the 2.0 version (Soul OS) was super hard, especially the fourth final phase, and especially if you're fighting him for the first time,. People don't know what they are saying when they say "Kirby games are easy 💩",) You had to be active and quick to react because he does so much damage and can kill you easily 💀 💀 💀 Btw if you never heard of Star Dream Soul OS, I would recommend looking it up to see what I'm talking about. Its pretty much what this fight should have been like.

I'm gonna cry if you do one way dream or dear father i don't think I can handle all these masterpieces...

It's... probably my favorite Sonic boss theme. I've grown up to Sonic games and especially Crush 40, I'm a big fan of so many of their songs, but despite that, this one... I'm a perfect profane about music, so I can't really talk much about it, but this music convert so many feelings. The whole atmosphere, the strange mix of sadness, heroism and hope, the thematic of the game which is supposed to be the end of a dark era, fitting very well Sonic franchise... I use it as an alarm clock since five months and I'm not even close to be tired of listening it. And this is rare, I tell ya.

"why do you dare continue to fight knowing I'm endless" Sonic:"Because I'm ME!" Idk why that's what popped into my head but I almost cried at how beautiful it sounded to me.

I do hope after the Sonic Frontiers edits, we see a Sonic Forces Infinite Theme Special Edit.

This is the final fight who will win the enemy or us

Despite the time constraints and budget problems Frontiers had near the ending of the game, I personally think that The End was a great true final boss. Obviously the model was underwhelming but, I've never played a bullet hell game and I'm certain the majority of the game's community hasn't either. I genuinely thought it was the most difficult final boss of any Sonic game (I haven't played many of them but I've seen watched gameplays of every relevant game and it didn't look hard at all.) Not only did I think the boss was hard, I did think that it was easily the most malevolent villain yet. Every time I heard the beautiful music click back on after every death, I heard The End talk down to Sonic and Sage. The voice effects of The End was stunning to me, and fitting. It just felt so malevolent, because it truly was the most evil thing in the Sonicverse because of how many it's killed and how it's been completely unstoppable up until its run in with the Ancients, but wasn't defeated until Sonic and Sage showed up. Just my two cents

And I personally feel like it’s a nice capstone to the theme of Frontiers. Throughout the story, there has been motives of death, acceptance and moving on. Be it the Kokos, Sonic and his friends going their separate ways, and even the lyrics of the Titans as well. All encompassed in one final fight against the embodiment of the End. And I feel like it’s fitting that we don’t fight the End with Sonic directly. Instead, we fight against it with Sage within Supreme. Sage, who has pushed past her function and came to respect and love life, and Supreme, the Titan of the Ancient who gave their life to seal away the End. The love of life, and the acceptance of death. The duality of light and dark is required to defeat the end and break through the bullet hell. As underwhelming as it may be for some, I have a soft spot for the End, it’s theming, it’s boss fight, it’s gameplay and all its aspects for these reasons.

I mean it was more tedious than difficult imo, just felt anti-climactic (and cannot qualify for the hardest by default since it gives you an increasing number of extra lives when you die enough which basically ensures you'll do it eventually) Some final bosses are genuinely annoying though (and for the record the real hardest one is Dark Gaia, albeit mostly due to an annoying QTE). More importantly than that though, they were actually _fun._ I didn't really feel that from The End, it was just a chore. I do like the _concept_ of Super Sonic teaming up with a Titan to fight The End, but it being executed as a very slightly suped-up version of the hacking minigame was just a bit of a letdown. This music is absolute _fire,_ but it doesn’t play even close to as epic as it sounds.

Now do one way dream, the song that encapsulates every dream of sonic team and all sonic fans

Shmup segments fit surprisingly well in a sonic game imo, kinda wish more was more in frontiers outside of the hacking tbh

"No matter what form i take, the end comes for you all" makes me think The End could have been the Darkseid of the sonic universe (because darkseid is an outerversal/fourth dimensional being that sends avatars to interact with the universe) If the are taking that approach I wouldn't mind seeing the end again.

The End was totally out of place for a sonic game but still a great boss fight.
