i respect eggman more than ever before, instead of being happy sonic is dead, he respected him, he placed the most valuable thing to him onto sonics grave as a sign of hope and respect, he was sad and blamed himself for his death, despite not doing anything, this shows mow much sonic changed everyones lives for the better, even in life and death

Looking back, my favourite endings out of all of theses types of games has always been the best ending, but it’s more impactful after doing all of the other outcomes, as it prepares you for what’s to come, using all of the knowledge from the other endings to finally beat exe and live to fight another day…

i still feel my theory is right: something forced sonic to stop and get killed, sonic is faster than everything so he would have plenty of chance to escape with mighty and ray, so why didnt he? he had time, but he stood there and didnt move, its like he saw something and wanted to prevent it

This is one of the first sonic.exe games that actually have some sort of sense. This was really well written. Gameplay could be sort of repetitive but the story telling more than makes up for it. Good job to everybody who worked on this and I sincerely hope they’re planning a part 2.

18:36 I’m surprised no one’s come to steal or profit off of the gems in echidna ruins, like they literally grow on trees! Money does grow on trees apparently, and out the ground for this game. Also it’s wild that they didn’t try to slow down for sonic, or give him a boost when he fell. Also, it would be cooler to just have the phantom ruby revive sonic with a corrupted personality instead of something taking over his body. Tbh a chilly dog would’ve been more appropriate and personal to sonic. I mean, sonic has no connection with the phantom ruby besides bad memories, while sonic loves chilly dogs. Or at the very least put flowers or rings instead!
