Mr V is not a friend of Fatal, but a friend of No More Innocence It is common for them to believe that they are similar or even close but in reality they are not friends or even know each other..... to be fair fatal is red for literally no reason if anything he should be blue/white and black for when a fatal error occurs on a Pc/Windows and Linux. but mr v HAS a reason he's trapped inside a virtual boy which throws off his colors, if he was in any other game/console he'd look like any other mario but slightly taller and spookier.

Fun fact: In version 1 GB and Horror Mario were the same person with GB being Horror Mario’s second form but as you can see in version 2 they are separate beings not the same one anymore which also would explain the lack of poison mushrooms in Golden Land in version 2 unlike in version 1 which had that

GB: GB was unintentionally made sometime during the year 1995 by video game developer, Christine Hermer, as a means of making an AI successor to the Gameboy console under OptiSoft. At one point he spelled out the words "GB" in one of his attempts to communicate with her, giving himself his name. Christine would experiment with his cartridge data by putting it into other cartridges such as Kirby's Dreamland and Pokemon Red, causing him pain in the process. Despite his pleas to stop, she ignored him and continued experimenting. Enraged, GB burned his cartridge in an act of retaliation, resulting in Christine going home and falling asleep since she was already exhausted. That night, Christine became the subject of a nightmare where she was in the body of Luigi inside of Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins and was chased by a demonic version of Mario, who was none other than GB himself. She eventually wakes up after being dragged into the ocean to drown but is confronted by GB coming out of her living room TV in the real world, who proceeds to kill her after causing a blackout. Her corpse, which was mangled and bled black ooze instead of blood, is discovered the following morning by an agency coming for the mortgage on her house, which was the whole reason Christine made GB to begin with. In response to this, Nintendo cuts its ties with OptiSoft, resulting in the company filing for bankruptcy months later. DJ Hallyboo (Mario's Madness): DJ Hallyboo was created by Nintendo to punish everyone who played pirated versions of Mario Party DS, with one of these many players, Joey Perloni, having played as Luigi, as described in the Mario Party DS Anti-Piracy series. Mr. Virtual (Mario's Madness): The origins of Mr. Virtual are unknown, what is known is that he is an entity that lives in a Virtual Boy Console, waiting for victims to kill them with his insanity. Mr. Virtual (Canon): Mr. Virtual was once a circus performer and contortionist simply under the name of "V", he lived a life of struggle and torment before one day he snapped, burning down the circus and watching those he knew die before his very eyes, the screams of his peers caused him a sense of pure euphoria, and this leads him down a life of crime, becoming a serial killer once again under the alias of "V", his killings would involve him mutilating his victims in various ways, and carving a large V into their chests before hiding them in undisclosed locations. His killings caught the attention of Detective Thomas Anderson, who immediately took action in hunting down the psychopath, who, after months of investigation, would eventually be caught on May 13th, 1995, the chase would lead the detective and V into the E3 currently being held, where V would be shot dead, collapsing in the Nintendo stall, where they would be showing off the latest "Virtual Boy" system. Unknown to Anderson, V's soul would become tethered to the system in death, transforming him into a red gangly, and seemingly shapeless poltergeist. Months after his death, V takes the name "Mr. Virtual", a giant phantom that took the twisted form of Mario, having renounced his previous life to attain one singular goal, Kill Detective Anderson. He wasn't yet aware of his abilities till an unsuspecting Samantha Heathers played the very system he inhabited, this allowed V to follow her, just as he did to his previous victims, which led him to attempt his old serial killer ways, Samantha would experience months of night terrors and unexplained paranoia, till one day, she was able to see him, and then he struck, He mutilated not her physical form, but the very soul that inhabited her body, leaving it a mangled corpse of what once was "Samantha Heathers", in doing this, he was able to replace her and tether his form to the body of Samantha, using it as a vessel, the feeling of the flesh, the smell of the air, it was all familiar, but completely foreign to him at the same time, he had returned to the physical plane, and he LOVED it. But this feeling, this vessel, it would fall short, as only mere days after he attained his new body, it would begin to rot away, the skin peeling off, the face deteriorating into a grotesque smile that matched that of his new face, and then, without any warning, he was back in the headset, he had stayed tethered to the cursed object he had died near, and he was no closer to achieving his goal, however, with the newfound knowledge of his abilities, he would just need to try again, and again, and again, until one day, Anderson would die by his hands.
