I'd love to hear them read through the series, but let's be honest; it's way too damn long. If they only went through an arc or two, we wouldn't be satisfied. If they hand picked certain arcs throughout the series, everyone (except those of us who've read the series before) would be confused. And if they tried to do the whole thing, either they'd get bored of it at some point (likely), or it'd take a couple of years to get through, assuming near-daily uploads of just that. But, wishful thinking. Or at least, a fun, faraway dream.

His name is Jules the Hedgehog & basically he was injured in this War & was later roboticized. When Sonic undid everything, his injuries were too severe to go back to being normal so he remained a robot

I'm so glad Dan is recalling the "I'm the one who wins!" line. It's hilarious.

Dan, Arin, PLEASE do a full read through of that Sonic Firsts comic with your amazing character voices. This episode was one of my favorite Grump sessions in years.

I still watch this in 2021, it really cheers me up to see the reaction on the comics covers.

Same. This is one of those Game Grumps videos that I like to watch when I’m having a bad day, or when I’m bored.

They should do these more often! There's something charming about looking at comic book covers and pointing out weird stuff!

One of the best episodes of GameGrumps I have ever seen. I really want this to continue.

It was so good I watched it twice.

I'd like to point out that, according to one of the older comic, Sonic's middle name is Maurice. Sonic Maurice The Hedgehog. Let that sink in.

Depends. If it's Manny Galan, Pat Spaziante, Jon Gray, or Tracy Yardley, you're gonna have a good time. Dave Manak or Art Mawhinney, you're probably gonna be annoyed by how goofy it is. Ron Lim, you're gonna be super distracted by how he draws Sonic's eyes as a giant rectangle. Steven Butler, you're gonna be rolling your eyes at how much he boobed up Sally and Bunnie. And if it's Ken Penders... try to breathe through your nose so you don't barf. God help you if you get an issue drawn by "Many Hands".

@@exist4046 The entire Return to Angel Island arc was his too, and it's pure fun from start to finish 😁 It's unfortunate that he also drew the Slap, though. He got so much more crap for that than he deserved; it's not like he wrote the damn thing, after all.

I didn't notice the first time I watched this, but Tails' feet in those "sonic kids" covers are super creepy wtf.

12:55 Dude, that’s the robotacized Uncle Chuck from the SatAM cartoons. I haven’t seen it in about 20+ years but I remember him clear as day from the episode where they’re worried if he can keep control of his robotic urges. And now I read that back I realise just how crazy the cartoon was.
