I really like the sprites. It looks like the art style from the fan game Sonic Freedom, which of course imitates the Toei style.

Sonic CD was easily the best of the classic games. Right up there with 3 and Knuckles. The fact that people still play and mod this game to this day is proof alone of this fact. As long as the US OST is in this mod I'm definitely gonna download and play this.

How can you?? :p i just can listen to japanese OST, maybe the best ever for a sonic game.. and i really hope that they put this one on the Origins. Finally I got to see Tidal tempest in mania mod is one of my favorites zone in Sonic Cd

Now, I've been doing my best in defending Origins, because it's price isn't that bad. But, I'd definitely say it'd be more worth it if the games in Origins had updated models like Sonic in this mod, and the stages looked more vibrant. I still think Origins is going to be a great collection and well worth the price, but a full "modernized" (like Mania or this for example) update to each game in Origins would be awesome and probably set it well to $50-$60 (US).

Glad to see a lack of Wacky Workbench, the creators know there stuff

Fan remakes like this really make the original game look even more like a creepypasta. From the way the latter’s detailed environments clash with Sonic’s sprite reused from the first game, to the surprise creepy bad futures, to the DAMN NEAR WHOLE U.S. SOUNDTRACK (seriously, the boss and final boss theme’s are traumatizing enough, but the game over theme was begging to be used in a future horror fan game) to the creepy sound test Easter egg that was spoiled hear in the west, it was most likely the main source of inspiration of Sonic.EXE. So…yeah. I like this much better. Edit: in regards to the Easter egg, I say spoiled in the sense that it probably was supposed to be funny (I think I remember one of the devs confirming this, but I could be wrong) but then the U.S.’s release replaced the funky jazz boss theme with the nightmarish (though still somewhat cool) robo-circus march from Hell.

I wouldnt say this as an "enhanced version" of Sonic CD like most of the comments nor a "remake" as remaking a game should make it good It has that kind of Anime feel into it, which could bring mixed feeling to gamers It's an alternative version of Sonic CD

I like how sonic has alot of animation and emotion

THIS is what Sonic Origins should've been. Refined graphics and such!

Japan boss theme would've been better tbh. USA theme sounds so out of place with how fun and whimsical everything looks.

This is like the Sonic CD Game I give this a 10/10
