All the endings (or when it says game over or end) 11:54 Normal ending Sonic found his friends in pieces, LITERALLY. So he decided to end it. 15:01 Too slow ending Sonic wasn't fast enough to make it to labyrinth zone. 32:48 Madness ending Everyone died, leaving sonic in despair and believing most of what he saw as hallucinations. Knuckles decided to come visit little planet at that time and saw all the aftermath of -Eggman's- Robotnik's 2nd failure*. Sonic does not believe knuckles is real, and that he is just a hallucination. *Sonic CD is (in canonical order) before the events of Sonic 2

I love how the Knuckles in the neutral ending is a lot more caring and protective over Sonic because Knuckles and Sonic started as somewhat enemies because Knuckles mistook Sonic for a thief, but in this alternative ending to CD, Knuckles sees Sonic as just somebody who lost their friends to a horrible event and is now suffering mentally.

In an attempt to redeem himself from his sins, he looked for someone to blame his actions, and decided to kill Eggman, the one who started it all, but after that, he realized that he is not only a coward, but also a murderer, that last action was the last nail on the wall. Now that there's nothing for him, and feeling like a trash bag, is time for him to reunite with his friends and leave this world filled with suffer... But then, he realizes he is physically fine, and sees a familiar face, an old rival, what is this feeling? "I can't just leave these sins away, what should I do, Tails? Amy? This was supposed to be between Sonic 1 and 2, so technically they never would have met, Knuckles wouldn't be rivals with Sonic at all, but after Knuckles saw Sonic trying to throw his own life away, Knuckles would be Sonic's Guardian

Lol it's not that bad on PC or Console but it's terrible on Mobile though.

I wish they had an ending where if you look up, Sonic sees the dagger that was heading for the bird and ducks over it just in time to save it, and when it hits him the screen goes black and words appear saying "I can't let you die. You're the only good thing left in this world. Fly, little bird." And then it shows new words. "Why? Why did you decide to abandon us, then save one little bird?" And it cuts to Sonic crying in an entirely black area, with words appearing above him. "I never meant for this. I did what I thought was right. I didn't think this would happen. I'm sorry..." and they could make up the rest or it can just end there.

Either that or maybe it was from killing Eggman. If we look at the neutral ending (Madness), we see that Sonic killed Eggman before he kills himself, but Knuckles saved him. And he still had blood in his gloves. So that means in this ending, he killed Eggman and himself with the same blood on his hands. Also I subbed

Here's my telling of gameplay and endings told as a story. This will be told in a before time style(since Sonic CD supposedly took place before Sonic 2 and 3&K) Fair warning: It gets pretty sad. First, let's cut to the chase where the blue hedgehog Sonic defeats his enemy Dr. Robotnik in Metallic Madness. After that, Sonic lands somewhere in Mobius, looks up, and sees Little Planet losing it's floatation and starts falling. Sonic, along with all the small animals, begins running away. At this point, there are 3 ending possibilities. =Normal Ending= Sonic has 60 seconds to get to a safe location before Little Planet collides with Mobius. He gets passed some of the treacherous terrain through help with the springs. Everything beings shaking as Sonic goes underground. Screaming and screeching is heard as the impact happens. "I'm sorry Little Planet..." Sonic quietly says. "The Final Day: Act 2" Sonic arrives in the Labyrinth via the hole to the underground. He treads through the unusually deserted halls, though the Labyrinth was known for its traps and flooded caverns, and no Badniks were spotted either. As exploration continues, the statistics in the top right corner begin disappearing, starting with the numbers and ending with the letters. When Sonic reaches the end of the Labyrinth, he finds a Warp Ring, and looks unease before jumping in. " *You abandoned us* " says a voice, as the hedgehog seems to start having hallucinations. "The Final Day: Act 3" " /Finish what you started/ " said another voice. Sonic finds himself somewhere in Emerald Hill, it's dark and raining. He walks through the rain when he notices something that made him feel hopeful, one of the flowers from Little Planet. Suddenly, the flowers dies, and the hedgehog loses hope. He find an airplane, The Tornado, not to far from where he was, and begins to fly it. As Sonic flies through the stormy weather, he continues to hear voices, " /Love to see you suffer/ ", " /Your suffer is our fun/ ", " /Selfish/ ". The airplane suddenly gets knocked out of the air, and Sonic starts falling because of it. He falls down a spike pit before a Warp Ring teleports him out of the pit. " *Face it* : Final Act" Sonic gets teleported to the debris of the impact site, and is filled with guilt. He goes through the fragmented hallways and pathways of the 7 zone locations; Palmtree Panic, Collision Chaos, Tidal Tempest, Quartz Quadrant, Wacky Workbench, Stardust Speedway, and Metallic Madness. Between the boarders of SS and MM, Sonic sees the remains of his once rival, Metal Sonic, buried in the debris, though it was not the hedgehog's concern. Sonic reaches what was once the room for the final fight, and sees a small bird, giving him hope again. Sadly, the bird is crushed by a piece of debris, ending the hedgehog's hope again. Suddenly, the floor Sonic was on collapses, and he ends up seeing the bodies of the pink hedgehog he saved in Little Planet and a two tailed fox who would be his friend later on. Sonic, overwhelmed with guilt and depression, begins to cry out. We flashback to moments before the impact. The two tailed fox, whose name turns out to be Miles "Tails" Prowler, is going through a heavily forested area. As he continues going through the forest, he notices small animals, strangely going the opposite direction. He makes it to an open area outside the forest, only to be stunned scared by a massive, spherical object that is about to collide. The collision happens, and the fox yells as he perishes. Unable to handle his guilt and depression, along with losing his mind, the blue hedgehog looks at the bodies one last time before dashing way. He yells as a whipping sound is heard. "GAME OVER" Sonic is dead, with his gloves bloodied, and hanging on a rope tied to a tree somewhere in Green Hill. ="Too Slow" Ending= Sonic never made it to a safe spot in time and perished with everyone else in the impact. "Accept the *CONSEQUENCES* " Sonic finds himself in a dark place, where no light is anywhere seen. The only choice he has is to move forward. As he moves forward he finds the bodies of Miles and the pink hedgehog he recently saved, whose name is found to be Amy Rose. As the blue hedgehog continues moving forward, everything suddenly goes black. "GAME OVER" Blood splatters around the text and Sonic's decapitated head, which sits there, impaled by the Goal Sign. =Madness Ending= Cutting to the chase again to the Labyrinth, right before Sonic find a Warp Ring. He finds another path, seemingly arranged with chiseled brick. When Sonic seemingly reaches a dead end, he finds a shining gem, a Chaos Emerald, and he leave the area then jumps into the Warp Ring. Cutting to the chase once more to the point where the hedgehog dashes away from the corpses. He yells, but instead, a magical noise is heard. Meanwhile, somewhere in a location far away from the impact site, a certain red echidna is sleeping in front of a large magical gem. The echidna's slumber is disturbed when he hears the same magical noise. Wondering about the source of the noise, he uses the large gem, which is known as the mystical Master Emerald, to teleport him there. The red echidna ends up in the impact site, seemingly, the exact spot that Sonic was when he teleported here. He grows weary as to what exactly happened. The echidna traverses through the 7 zones for a source of the noise, he does see the buried remains of Metal Sonic, but is unphased and ignores it completely. The echidna goes through the collapsed floor at the end of Metallic Madness and finds Amy and Miles, both mutilated in some way. But they were the least of his concerns and he processes forward, eventually finding the same Warp Ring that the blue hedgehog had been going through. Feeling uneasiness, he decides to jump in. The echidna finds himself somewhere in Scrap Brain, a lab known for being incredibly dangerous with it's high security. So, the echidna explores the outside area, which was dark and stormy. He does eventually find the entrance to the main area. The red echidna reaches the main area of the lab through a hole in the ceiling. The interior was very eerie; it was very dark, it was also quiet, apart from a distant melody related to the theme of it, all the security systems were shutdown, and nothing lived inside, except for many small animals, implying that any Badnik seen was destroyed in an instant. Once the red echidna reached a location in Scrap Brain known simply as the Final Zone, the melody shifted to a finale feel, and the moment the echidna passed the crushers, he did not believe what he was seeing. Dr. Ivo Robotnik, who had somehow survived the impact, on the wall, dead, with a large hole in his torso. It seems like whatever killed the scientist likely did it out of anger; a swift, uncontrolled kill. Once the echidna approached the egg shaped corpse, he hears a zoom noise, along with a trail of blood on the floor, probably belonging to Robotnik. The echidna follows the blood out of the lab. The red echidna exits Scrap Brain via the back and continues following the Doctor's blood. At some point, he finds Sonic and hides behind some shrubs. The hedgehog is cowarding and continues moving forward, leaving more of Robotnik's blood behind, and the echidna continues following Sonic, using springs and even climbing while still being unseen. The red echidna, who would later be called Knuckles, finds Sonic at the end of his trail as he stands above a spike pit. Cowardly and guilt ridden, he begins speaking; "This is all my fault", " /I can't do this anymore/ ", " */I want to end this now/* ". The hedgehog closes his eyes before committing the unthinkable. He yells as he jumps, but gets grabbed and pulled way. Sonic opens his eyes, only to find himself on the ground several feet from the pit. He sees K.T.E but looks unphased, so he move forward. Knuckles stops him by moving his hand forward, implying that the hedgehog's death is not worth anything. Sonic begins having hallucinations again, much worse this time. He starts seeing the eyeless spirits of Miles and Amy, standing over the same spot that Knuckles is standing, and saying things like " *Avenge us* " and " *Join us* ". Because of this, Sonic starts thinking that Knuckles had died in the impact along with everyone else, and begins cowarding. Knuckles tries to step forward, but Sonic steps back, scared. The hallucinations overwhelm Sonic and he dashes away, Knuckles, worried about his mentality, starts to go after him. "End" Knuckles stands beside Sonic, who had lost his mind from the events. Surrounding them are the remainders of Sonic's insanity; the corpses of Tails, Amy, and Robotnik.

So this is what happens when someone discovered what happens when you wait for 3 minutes idle and just ran with it. I'll admit that it's an interesting concept, displaying the emotions and actions of Sonic if he had to make a split second choice such as how to handle Little Planet losing it's levitation ability.

creo que el final alternativo puede ser una representación del perdon de los pecados, puesto que sonic tuvo un fallo al detener a eggman, el cual fue no destruir la nave (lo malo fue que mato a eggman, lo más probable es que furioso lo mato pensando que era su culpa y no es asi), entonces sonic esta con pensamientos criticos donde piensa que el es el culpable y un cobarde por no poder salvar a todos. Aqui knuckles sería como el angel y este trata de convencer a sonic de que lo que hizo fue un accidente y puede perdir perdon y descansar en paz, pero este se va llorando corriendo, con lo cual knuckles (angel) le sigue hasta atraparlo para que no se mate y este libera su alma y la purifica o algo por el estilo (en el final se ve a todos los personajes que murieron por la nave y sale eggman, que este fue asesinado por sonic, pero fue perdonado al final)

There HAS to be something to do with the time stones. Sonic did find one, so At least with one of them, he could harness the power. Sure, it can’t Fix everything, I hope at one point there are two endings “Second Choice” and “Sacrifice” ‘Sacrifice’ being the ending where he saves his friends and the animals while dying in the process. Tails, suffering over this overwhelming guilt, Doesn’t know what to do. ‘Second Choice’ being a somewhat good ending where Sonic collected the chaos emeralds, as a last resort. when sonic Sees the planet falling, he warned the animals, and his friends before it was too soon. Playing as either Amy or tails, You have to traverse(and guide the animals) through Green hill, finding a secret passage way to a Base in labyrinth. failing to make it,and guide the animals into the entrance will trigger a neutral ending, with the end saying “Be quicker next time.” (That’s all I’m gonna do right now, I’ll update this later)

The piano version of Greenhill zone made me sad I also love the fact that Knuckles survived can somebody told me how though

Ngl that was the most 'hopeless' game, you're given only a minute to find a safe place before planet crashing, tails realises that planet is falling only in the last moment, amy isnt granted any superpowers so she is simply not fast enough to reach a safe place. Happiest ending is the one where sonic dies unable to reach safe place, i think sonic got insane because he is supposed to be a hero yet he wasnt able to save his closest friends alongside with lots of other animals and nature dying

the music in the video while eggman spaceship is falling is "red rage 2:43" here are the informations about this creature: red is a demonic creature that having the hate and the grade (killing all the creatures and rip him) this creature is a gigantic beast that no one can be defeat him, the game that he appears in is "Godzilla: monster of monsters" its a game that the kids are loving this game in 90s, but this game is just turned from an action game to an nightmare game with no escape (everything was good with this game but after many of creepypasta stories here the first Godzilla creepypasta story appears, the monsters before the Godzilla creepypasta story appears the monsters are fighting normally but after this Godzilla creepypasta story the monsters are be scary and have a bigger sizes and more of monsters is not want to be appearing in the game) when you enter red level there is a message above the playable monsters "RUN" this message needs you to run before red is catching you and eat you with his wide sad mouth, but there is a surprise attacks You have to avoid it, everytime you avoid the attacks the level gets more harder and harder, there are some levels you need to finish it and then you are enter another red level but this time is a fight face to face, the monster that you fight is a stronger beast and even of this you need to send your monsters to make red bleeding to much blood after you defeat it you say "YES! I DID IT!" but you are wrong 101% red can actually build his body again and he is forming himself to the final real form, you say "OMG! HOW THIS IS POSSIBLE!!?" He eat your monsters, he Killed Melesa "girlfriend of Godzilla" and he say to you "I KILLED MELESA, YOU CANT SAVE HER, HAHAHAHA" and he scares you with his terrifying Jumpscare, But one monster is Called "The Golden Light" can defeat red (i dont know his correct name but i say it ACACUS if the name wrong just say the correct name in the comments) he sent to red, red says "what are you have?, this monster?, NO ONE CAN STOP ME!!, HAHAHAHA" But ACACUS is not care they are fighting face to face and ACACUS is really defeat it and he save the day! Then red Dies and the world is now safe All the monsters that he getting killed by red is now returning to life! and Melesa is now returned to life! "you can download the game in gamejolt.com"

I feel like Tails would've been smarter in this situation... Normally if you see a big flock of animals running away from something, wouldn't you think that something is wrong and NOT run towards what's making the animals freak out? I don't know. If I were in Tails's shoes, I would've booked it out of there with the animals. 😅

Remember that so far Tails would only think of animals running in terms of Eggman trying to trap them or a beast (which he could easily fly away from) preying on them, none of which would have been actual risks on his life.

This still has never made sense to me cause he didn't abandon anyone on Little Planet. If we assume everything in actual CD happened Amy would've been saved, right? With Tails, Sonic didn't even know he was in the area at the time and he somehow got caught in the blast (even though he probably could've ran away like Sonic considering he was father away from Little Planet and is fast) and died so not Sonic's fault. All the animals he literally couldn't save, he didn't know there was some behind him and the ones on Little Planet should've escaped way earlier. If they haven't already than what is Sonic to do? Sonic can't run towards Little Planet and save the animals cause if he does the animals AND himself die. Sonic in this scenario can't win so the fact that the animals and potentially Tails and Amy blame him is absolutely insane. I understand Sonic himself being upset that he couldn't save them, that's totally understandable but why would they say he's to blame. Unless they're delusions he made himself? Which wouldn't make sense cause they interact with him physically. Another weird thing is how did Eggman survive? He was blowing up wasn't he? He should've been the FIRST to die not one of the last. Sonic also probably wouldn't resort to [Word I can't say because youtube] just because he couldn't save the people he didn't know was there. If anything wouldn't he try looking for... the Time Stones? Little Planet is still there, granted destroyed but if he found them he'd be able to save everyone but I guess he broke character and killed himself. Overall I feel like this fangame just isn't that good, gameplay or storywise. It's cool it's not just another .exe game but it just doesn't make sense and has a lot of plotholes. Some I didn't even bring up due to how much longer this paragraph would be. I just don't like this fangame, it's not very well done and needs a lot of improvements other from "DARK EDGY SONIC KILLS EGGMAN THEN HIMSELF"

@@callie-flower3177 yes that's the issue. It's not it's own new story, it works off of the official games. If it was entirely dethatched my original comment wouldn't exist. Since it's attached to the official games and labels itself as an alternate ending that's where my criticisms come out. I don't think this fangame makes sense in the context of any of the Classic games nor Sonic as a whole. Why aren't I allowed to say that just because a fan made it or because it's an "alternate ending" LMAO

I don’t know why people are so surprised at the fact that Eggman survived the explosion, but I’m more surprised that he was able to be killed by Sonic. I mean for a guy that has been surviving explosions and falls from great heights since 1991, I’m sure Eggman wouldn’t die that easily.

bro sonic cd takes place before sonic 2 theres no way sonic would know knuckles, and no way that knuckles would know sonic. but given that sonic is mentally scarred for the rest of his life, seeing a living soul on a dead planet would be not only stressful, but he wouldn't believe his eyes, and would think he is going mad because of his loneliness.... because of his failure.

Also the sprite that was made for when sonic hanged him self is actually a real sprite that Sega made for sonic cd...
