Yeah, Sonic may have had a bad string of games, but you know, as cancerous as this is gonna sound, Sonic has played a major role in my life. He's been in my life since I was 2 when I got my first Archie Sonic Comic, and I'm honestly glad I've been able to grow up with him. It's like he's an old friend...except a 3 foot tall talking blue hedgehog. Yet, in all seriousness, I can't wait to see where he goes from here. I'm excited for his ups and his down. So bring it on SEGA, you meme factory, let's see what you got.

So I rewatched this about 4 years after I first saw it, and honestly? It still gives me the same feeling now as it did when I was 14. I've been a Sonic fan for almost 7 or 8 years at this point, and while the series has had its ups and downs over the years, it has always managed to make me happy. And in my opinion that's the only thing that matters :3

This represents a true sonic fan tbh and love this and this is just NOSTALGIA ON A WHOLE ANOTHER LEVEL

This reminds me of when I first played Sonic The Hedgehog (1991) at my childhood home. I first saw Sonic in a cartoon and I was intrigued to know more. So, a friend of mine heard my prayers and secretly sent me a Sega Genesis console with a copy of Sonic the Hedgehog (1991). I only got to play it when my mom was either asleep or left me home alone to go shopping. Every few days, my classic collection slowly grew till I got the last of the Classic Sonic era games because my friend said he's moving away from my town because of their house budget hitting them hard. To this day, I still wonder if he's alright. Eventually, my mom sees me watching the cartoon show every few days and so she bought me Sonic Unleashed. I wasn't expected for the style Sonic was in now, but I was beyond happy ^^. I later on confessed about my classic stash hidden in the far back of my closet, but she was actually surprised in a good way that I started playing the game of my favourite character. Unfortunately, we moved out a few years after I got Sonic Unleashed. I saved the game, but the Sega Genesis and my classic collection were sadly left behind. But, I'm ok now thanks to this song. My classic stash and Sega Genesis is probably being played by someone else, but I'll let them have it. Thanks to this song, I'll work as hard as I can to get my Sonic The Hedgehog Collection back with my Sonic Unleashed game. Keep up the great work LexisNexus, this video will be my fuel to keep trying and to not give up ^^ Same for you Atpunk, your song will help me all the way 😁👍

Holy shit; this just popped up in my recommendations, and I see it's a masterpiece that deserves way more views than it's gotten! I didn't really grow up with the Sonic series aside from Adventure 2 Battle, so I don't have the same nostalgia for the series that some people do, but I don't have any hate for it either, and this video really captures the feeling of wonder and joy that fans who've followed him and remained fans since the beginning must feel, even through the dark periods. I bet this video could make even most Sonic haters appreciate the series a little more.

(I also thank Atpunk for creating this incredible song that ROCKS!!) Happy Birthday Sonic; We fans all know and love you for who you truly are! Never stop running fast, being cool, true blue, and happy! We'll support you through it all, even during the Hard Times of bad games or media. Currently, The new Movie (YES, It's confirmed) is being tweaked and worked on; hopefully we'll see better results soon. Nonetheless, I'll definitely go see the movie to show my love for this little speedster that raced into my (and other Sonic fans') hearts, even if it's terrible and is just memes. (Which are still hilarious and enjoyable.) We see your potential, little buddy. We hope you shine bright! And remember Sonic, just like you've told us: Smile. Don't let the hatred of the world get to ya! You're still our blue buddy, no matter what crazy things happen.

I love Sonic Adventure, so I got chills when I saw the Sonic Adventure part. It's also my favorite part of the music.

I remember when I was 3 years old, and my mom got me a Dreamcast for my birthday. She also got a game. I read the text, barely. It read “Sonic Adventure 2”. I was so excited, I instantly opened the Dreamcast and game, my mom set it up and I started to play from there. I beat the game. I went on to Sonic Colors on the Nintendo DS when I was 7. I enjoyed it. Sonic Generations, damn that was the best back then. Sonic Mania. Nostalgia. Sonic 1, 2 and 3. Even more nostalgia, Sonic Forces. Could do better. Sonic Movie 2020. Had it’s ups and downs, but it was a good movie. Just like this video and the Sonic franchise ever since the design of Mr. Needlemouse. When I saw this animation a few weeks ago, I cried. I was crying so much because of all the shit that SEGA and Sonic Team had to go thru to get to 25 years of Sonic The Hedgehog. Happy Anniversary, Sonic.

It's hard to believe that it's been 3 years since I first saw this video or heard this song. In that time, I've fully scripted 2 shows and reached 10K subscribers on a new channel. And I owe it all to this blue little goofball. If I hadn't played Sonic Advance 3 and picked up that Sonic Comic all those years ago, who knows what I'd be doing right now. I found an old sketchbook, there was a drawing of Sonic in it and I wrote down this song next to it, now I'm here remembering this, I love it so much and it makes me very nostalgic and happy to come back :')
