Every time I see a Sonic 1 speedrun, I wonder how I would've reacted as a kid basically living on the bottom route of most levels. I bet I'd have spent all day getting game overs on GH3 trying the bounces.
Something bout listening to Argick just puts me at ease. Such a soothing voice..

Is there anything to be said for waiting 5 seconds to finish after the 30 second mark so the score countdown is quicker? I feel sure they'll have thought of this, but it seems like an obvious frame save they don't utilise. So I'm sure there's a reason for it.
