This is awesome, so helpful. You have a very clear way of expressing what's attractive about certain techniques. Also you sound a bit like Tenacious D, didn't expect you to have a singing voice like Jack Black's, hahah

The melody you played was "london bridge is burning down" but different rhythm.

@@Victini1734 I didn't think of that song as I created this melody example, but you do bring up a valid point, and one songwriters need to be aware of. There are so many songs on the planet right now that almost any melody we write is often only one pitch or one rhythm away from sounding like another song. George Harrison, for instance, lost a law suit over one of his hit songs sounding just like one by another artist. He might not have ever even heard that song before, but these similarities can occur, and if they are exact enough in can cause a copyright issue. This is really the last thing to consider when writing melodies; you don't want concerns over this to start blocking your creativity. But if someone mentions that your song sounds similar to someone else's, and you realize they are correct, often changing a note of two can easily solve the problem.
