After my audiologist looked into my inner ears, he told me I have morissetilitis. The only known cure is to listen to more of her singing, or alternatively buy whistles from store.

I like the breathiness of her voice, it sounds sweet and not raspy.

Love your reaction again! Somehow you also know how to connect to your audience like Morissette!! BTW, this song is just extremely EXTREMELY difficult to sing but Morissette sang it like nothing and added SO MUCH personal touch to it with all the controls and techniques there. It simply dazzled. Amazing. If you haven’t reacted to her newest cover already, how about “Ain’t Been Done” by Morissette? I’m so hoping that she’ll come to the US market sooner than later.

Her whistle tone was the beautiful and romantic in the whole world.

The thing is, Morisette has less more of a diva aura. She's truly genuine and you can tell she's one humble person. Mariah is certainly living up to her diva moniker and that's why I dont really connect with her. But Morissette really makes you feel and makes you feel welcomed. Ice always said that the world NEEDS to hear her.

I agree..her whistle tone is sooo pleasing to hear, there’s something about her that she does a lot better than other singers,plus her heart into a song is ridiculous! I hope she can put up an album with all her covers available in iTunes/Spotify

Training and mastery of the technical aspects of her craft allows her a lot freedom to just be Mori. I think that's why she is able to connect with us. It's one thing to know the techniques and to have the ability to apply them. It is quite something else to have mastered them to the extent that they become background and not something she has to really think about. That's why we get to see Morissette just having fun while anyone else trying this would be sweating and straining to pull it off.

@98765qaz cs Sure, I have watched many of her "home" videos beginning about 3 years ago and, also comments made by other fans in the Cebu area, and comments made by vocal coaches analyzing her videos that lead me to believe that she takes training seriously (but joyfully). This may be mostly in the form of mentoring and I don't know of any formal schools that she has attended to develop her talents. I hope you don't think I'm trying to minimize her amazing talent by suggesting that she actually seeks out and takes advantage of any opportunity to train. That actually shows that she has a tremendous work ethic. An admirable quality. Whatever the case, she shares a place in my heart as one of the top 3 (in no particular order) singer/performers in the world (and way higher than all the most famous ones). Thanks for responding.

This virtual performance done by Morrisette and instrumentalists during this pandemic is very moving. It allows us viewers to see this amazing music artist without all the extras, but still witness greatness.
