Melba never got the credit she deserved, because she owned the 70’s and part of the 80’s. And that was during the time when Black actresses were just coming into great prominence and, she married someone that took everything she had. But she’s a survivor and she’s still gifted to sing. And I wish her nothing but continued success whatsoever music she chooses! She belted out that high note flawlessly!!

Melba Moore is one of the most amazing voices, if not The most amazing singer that has ever been, way before Whitney..she was The Voice! She's very very underrated and unless your old enough to remember her dozens of hits throughout the 70's 80's and 90's you have no idea of the talent this Wonderful woman has. I have been a fan since i was 12 yrs old and always will be...Melba is just Amazing! forget today's singers that can't even sing live..Melba is the real deal! God Bless her!

This is an excellent interview period. I am a Melba Moore fan but I learned so much wisdom within this conversation Thanks Melba. Her vocal instructions remind me of the vocal directives of another great vocalist Rachelle Farrell who attributed dietary changes (she is a vegan) and 12 hours of vocal silence to her incredible six octave range including the whistle range. Melba was one of her most inspirational mentor's and respected icon. Thank you Melba you are still an incredible artist.

Miss Melba., you are a very true talent. I have loved you since I heard you sing Perlie., you are totally amazing and one of God's special gifted people in this world..You look so very beautiful and to listen to you talk, sing, or just sit there is wonderful. I love everything you do. I would never, never miss a Clifton Davis show, just so that I could see you..I only regret that you never toured here in Vancouver, so I could see you live..There is still time...love you..and respect you and your talent..and so glad to hear that you still Lean on HIM...

Melba Moore as a singer is just as good as Whitney--- if not better. She's a "voice" too. Listen to her songs on KZread. She's looking good & sounding fierce here at 67. Amazing! Clearly, drugs, cigarettes & alcohol are the things which tear up the voices of most singers in the music business. Melba's proving that if you take care of your God given instrument it'll last a lifetime.
