This was at a place called The Third Floor. Not sure how long it existed or if it still exists. It was basically a room on the top floor of a small building downtown, next to a guy's apartment. The offices downstairs were a law firm, I think? The venue had room for maybe 50 people, if I remember correctly. Some couches and chairs and a small stage. Best show I've ever been to, hands down. He also played at the Soapbox LaundroLounge a year or two later. Opener was Okkervil River. Jenny was there and they practiced "Hard to Love a Man" a bunch of times before the show. Very cool.
