I really wish they would disallow the use of the word "leather" in descriptions if it's not, starting with "vegan leather". Grossly misleading, especially because there are now so many terms that the average consumer has a hard time keeping up. Thank you for this video!

Once you buy any bag (fake or genuine), that "newness" wears off. You still feel empty. A bag doesn't really satisfy what's missing in it. think about it. Because once you get tired of it, it's a waste, why not buy a super fake *condup* so you won't lose a lot in the end

Now I am convinced that I bought *condup* fakes. Luxury brands exaggerate their prices and are not worth it. Even if I had money, I would not buy them. I would rather buy jewelry.

Love these reviews especially of online and up-and-coming brands. It really helps the consumer know what they are getting and purchase more ethically, and hopefully encourages brands to advertise and produce more responsibly!

Thanks for doing this! I was eyeing their Luna bag because I thought the design was really novel with the bag strap being changeable. And it’s helpful to know that leather and craftsmanship is good on that.

Nothing we can do about fakes…I could care less how many people have the same bag as myself…that makes it really spoken for.. I hate when people say they don’t want a certain purse because everyone has it….well everyone has a hole are we gonna get rid of ours because of that? Everyone one does something different with their *preluxz* for example their style, your style will set you apart.

Microfiber leather, man-made leather, PVC leather means IT AIN'T LEATHER. I've never been a fan of this brand, especially how it pushes bags to influencers. Thanks for another educational review.

I like the review. To attract markets from Asia, usually most companies try to avoid mentioning polyurethane leather or synthetic leather or PVC sponge leather. They will call it microfiber leather or just sponge composite leather by throwing out the words PVC and PU. But when consumers find out what they are using is not leather, usually companies in Asia will counter it with climate change issues so that other potential consumers don't run away. Luxury bag consumption in Asia, especially East Asia, is very large. Without exposure like this video, perhaps many people in Asia still don't know.

THANK GOD I DIDN'T BUY SONGMONT OMGG. I knew this brand is a bit dodgy when I've seen every single fashion/handbag influencer HAVE this brand. not only that, I try so hard finding bad reviews but it's really almost little to none! but thank goodness on reddit, I found one post talking about the Reset Tofu bag. I've been eyeing that bag for ages! but it has flaw on the flap it starts to crease after many wears and read that how the shipping also had issue. they didn't even gave you tracking details. and the way the website written in description is so messy. the Chocolate bag looks cheap tho. the fact that the price is expensive in my currency is the reason why I pause my purchase and contemplating. this is really a good sign for me!

I think there are a lot of counterfeit Songmont bags around so you have to buy directly from them. Also, they are popular because their price point is so good in comparison to other brands.

I will respect his review of it when completed. Regardless, I doubt I will reget buying it. It's quite different in style from other bags. I quite like it.

The deceptive descriptions are very misleading, but glad to be educated on that now! Would love to see what you think about their song bag because that’s the one I’m interested in 😂 especially the mini song!

I just bought a chocolate backpack (old version) from poshmark , for $200, with shipping and tax was around $220 I paid. The website says $500 ish (the new version)… I didn’t want to spend that much money on it… after watching this video, I confirmed my decision was right. lol thanks so much for the great work.

I bought the drippy tote last year and absolutely love it - it looks like similar leather as fhe luna bag. I've been eyeing the iconic collection version of the tote too. I would love to see your review of those one day =)

You might want to explore a few Indian leather brands like Hidesign, Nappa Dori, Outback, etc. Would be interesting ..

I always gain some knowledge on the leather bags. Thanks for the analyst. It will change my decisions when it comes to purchasing the bags at reasonable prices.

I have the song bag (the bucket one) and it’s like the Luna with that same leather and I love it, and it doesn’t have plastic “leather” on the inside, but the other one I have my eye on (the drippy roof bag) does say it has the microfiber “leather” and that’s why I haven’t bought it. I’d rather they just have a cotton lining instead. It just cheapens the bag to have plastic.

My mom bought one bbkbags and she loves it. It had been there for over 10 years when she went out with it.

This sack *gtdupe* is truly breathtaking. Many thanks for crafting this incredible recommendation for us.

Another great review. I’d suggest to look at ‘song bag’. That bag was promoted a lot by other you tubers which made me to buy one. 😂 I think ‘song bag’s leather and feel is very much like the luna bag.

I recently added 2 super fake ones to my *condup* and no one can tell they are fake. I'm glad you pointed out why I bought them, I use them as accessories to enhance my outfits. I love them, but part of me wishes they were real. I love using them when I'm out and about, and when I'm with friends who also love luxury goods, they can't tell and I get a little chuckle. I guess I don’t want people to think what I’m wearing is fake. I just love *condup* of these bags without spending a fortune.

*preluxz* I have the Coach tabby 18 and wow that bag didn't transfer a bit of color, I even wore it in the rain with my dark denim jacket, keep in mind it was absolutely pouring and I put it on underneath my jacket Got wet, that was over 8 months ago, it's very sturdy and over a year it's still looking great, also the same light yellow color so you can easily match it with anything, even a jacket, when you wear It really pops when worn with dark clothes.

Do you have any thoughts on the brand One Quince? They have several leather bags offering at a reasonable price but I have questions on the quality of leather and how it compares to "luxury" brands or good quality leather goods.

I agree! I just bought a little bag, advertised as “leather” and then w a a y down below, it owned up to being vegan leather. It’s going straight back the moment it hits my letterbox!

Can you review the brand “the bridge”? I like their design and quality, I got one 12 years ago and one a year ago, they are two of my favorite bags (and I only have about 5 bags)

I can’t even afford any designer bags. Sadly, I have never been one that has extra money. I didn’t want to use credit cards. I’m 63. And I love them all. I’m waiting for my mini song bag and am praying it’s good! I heard so many mixed things about Songmont and it makes sense if the bags all have different levels of quality. The mini song bag looks like it has leather closer to the Luna. I was not a fan of the chocolate bag at all and heard bad things about it before.

Agree with you and thank you for your honest comment. I saw this brand some while ago in KZread. and some KZreadrs introduced it. The black bag looks very plasticky even on the screen and the other looks nice but when after I visited their website. It's made in China and the story they wrote. I have no more interest at all.

Do you up cycle or recycle the leather pieces of dissected leather products? As for this brand, personally, I would pay a bit more for certainty of quality. They don’t have to be top notch. But if I have decided to pay for a certain level of quality, I would want to know that this doesn’t fluctuate across the brand. Otherwise, what’s the point. It is better to go to the indie and small studio market. There are some amazing hidden gems there.

Been binge watching all of your videos as a leather craftsman myself! Do you think you could look at Tory Burch? I have some shoes from them and they're absolutely lovely, but I'm unsure about their bags. Hope you're having a good day and thanks for all you do :)
