KirbeeGaming To me it is. It just reminds me of the feeling: Dread. It reminds me of pain, death, and slowly dying. It’s depressing. It feels like I am being tortured and taunted. I hate the song because when I’m having fun or if I’m alone, this song plays in my head, and I try to cover my ears to make it stop. The thought of this eerie statue and the song and the backstory behind it keeps me up at night. I try to stay away from this Creepypasta but it keeps coming back to me. I turned off YT Autoplay, so it won’t lead me back here. But whatever I do, I keep coming back here.

this is the storyline that this song makes me imagine for some reason: It's early in the morning, your parents are asleep, and you're playing Legend of Zelda. You have it on low volume so that it doesn't wake anyone in the house. It's pitch dark, the only light coming from your TV. Suddenly, the game freezes. You sigh and get up to reboot the console. As you get up, your console glitches and this song starts playing at full volume. You gasp, unsure of what's happening. Your console goes to a red screen, and this continues to play. Your console is overheating, sparks come from the adapter it's plugged into. You desperately look out of your bedroom door into the dark hallway, frozen with fear but not sure why, a strange feeling of dread washing over you. You're praying that someone in the house will wake up and come to your aid. But they don't. Your heart drops as you hear footsteps on the stairs. You see a tall, dark figure coming up the stairs. This song doesn't stop playing. You glance back at your screen. It's from that dark figure's point of view. You can see the top of the stairs, the dark bathroom, and before you know it, you standing in your room. You look back at the door. The figure is standing in your doorway. the music is both sad, calming, and horrifying at the same time, like it feels so sad and knowing that ben... The song makes me tear up a little bit because it makes me remember when back in 2017-18 I was creeped the fuck out my this creepypasta. Now I've grown to appreciate Koji Kondo's music choice for this, since it makes me have a feeling of calming nostalgia, while thinking about your childhood. While pondering over the present day, as you start too think if you've actually amounted to anything.

When you hear something under your bed at 3am: Your heart:

So, I didn't listen for 10 hours. I, uh... couldn't possibly do that. But I did move the slider on the video because I wanted to see the end. Totally expected some kind of jumpscare (there isn't one, btw). What I DID notice is: the camera very slowly zooms in on Ben until his face fills almost the entire video screen. So over the course of 10 hours, if you were to actually leave your phone or computer on for 10 hours and just look at the screen occasionally, you would eventually notice, "hey, is he a little closer to the screen than before?" A very subtle kind of horror. Very well done.

Why has quarantine been doing this stuff to me.
