Thanks grandpa for taking me to see this in 1986
I wish this movie wasn't banned. It's really charming and sweet, especially the Br'er Critter segments. Definitely not racist at all.
What the hell is with that soundtrack? Those are clearly re-recordings.
Love Love this movie. So sad I cant share it with my kids
It’s sad how 1986 was the last year this film was rereleased in theaters before getting banned. It’s actually not that racist to me and I wish it would get put on Disney plus and that splash mountain wouldn’t change its theme.

"Not that racist to me" -- that's a compelling argument right there.

@@markdeming6224 It’s not nearly as racist as the state of Israel which I’m sure you support.

@@waltmccarthy9837 Well, that's a rather interesting way of looking at things. I don't recall saying a damn thing about Israel, and I don't know what the hell that has to do with anything. Even if I did support Israel (at very least, I don't support it's current leadership), that doesn't make SONG OF THE SOUTH any less racist.

before industrial light and magic.
Annabelle Rocks
It's back where? I thought it was banned for many many years. Long before home video was a thing...
What a great movie. I love it even more since it is politically incorrect.
Never look at another Disney movie ever again
Nothing at all racist about this movie.
