A combined CONA fleet made up of the warships of the Zetyan Clanholds, the C'ethal Kingdom, the Kel'thulians and the Poleisi conducted a lightning raid on the RANGSI system of Rian-Tabah, a crucial supplier of war materiel to the Aedelshaven front. The surprise incursion and immediate use of electronic warfare cut off the system from any reinforcements, and decimated the local defence fleet's capabilities to respond effectively to the invasion. Unchallenged, the C'ethal and Zetyan warships burned their way through the hundreds of helpless space stations and logistics ports until they reached the planet's orbit, where they then began a massive orbital bombardment of the planet in an effort to destroy its key infrastructure, with little to no sympathy for what they saw as 'colonial' civilians. As cities buckled and collapsed, as entire regions were engulfed in flames and as the sky rained down fire from the debris of the countless space wrecks pulled into orbit, Rian-Tabah's defenders have no other choice but to stand their ground. They would certainly die, but at least it would be on their own homeland.
