I absolutely love your videos. And soneva fushi, but my favourite part of the resort is the breakfasts as they have no competition of the sheer quality. Use your travel information regularly for trips overseas, and have helped me massively over the years. Keep posting quality vids for many years and have safe travels!

Wonderful video as always! Thanks for the update on this beautiful resort - it has spoiled me for all Maldives' resorts as your previous videos are the first ones I saw about these beautiful islands. However, I am specifically posting to thank you for sharing the information about the resorts' sustainability efforts that is printed in the front of their menus. I paused the video so I could read all of the information, and having done so I am amazed at the effort taken to minimize its impact on the environment, both local and global. Granted, I haven't read the resorts' websites about their sustainability efforts recently, but frankly - how many people do? Your sharing of this information is a benefit to not only the Soneva Jani resort but to anyone who might want to visit it. I know if I were in a position to do so (only if I win the lottery, alas), this would be a big YES in my decision matrix when deciding on a place to stay - and spend my money. Thank you again for what you share about the places you stay!

By the time I got around to finally choosing what to have for breakfast, it'd be time for lunch! 😊 I must admit that I wasn't a fan of your villa, especially not the main floor bathroom. However, I liked the desk and chair in the main bedroom ... 😊

The breakfast here looks so amazing that I think it broke me. I would have to stay there all day, just sampling each item that I wanted to try. Have you done "best breakfast buffets" post on your blog? If not, please do so. I'm a breakfast buffet hunter and I find them the most exciting parts of your videos.

@@kamiloos4393 it allows anyone to watch the video with subtitles in their own language (which was not possible with the embedded subtitles)

next long term goal for all of maldives is to get rid of Thilafushi. Something Shivdasani also addresses, teaching other resorts on how to avoid bringing trash to Thilafushi. Plastic, batteries and electronics being the hardest things to deal with. Soneva regulates it in a way that those things need to be packed in the luggage leaving the country, but that only means that it's thrown away at the airport, not on the island.

Have been in a very similar resort in Thailand, they all seem to have the same eco concept, seen One seen them all. The Brando got me curious mostly by its heritage.

Hello ! what was the number of your house ? The layout is amazing when I return do Sushi I have to go to this one to get sone ideas to my own house

I noticed that alot of random people that are in your shots are on their phones alot. I don't get it man. They are in such a beautiful place, why be on your phone so much? You might aswell stay home then. My eyes would fall out because of how beautiful these places are. Enjoy the moment.

dear Dr. LTE, how do you secure your bookings against exceptional circumstances like atc strike, volcano ashes, you name it? Soneva demands payment three month in advance, no refund in any case except corona, worst cancellation policy I've ever read. So I pay 20k+ for nothing in case of an atc strike?😮 Too risky for me...

Soneva Fushi’s beach villas have the same layout as those at Soneva Jani but with a slightly different design

I've rarely seen an L on the menu of Fresh in the garden. Like it advertises with being local, but only about 4 vegan or vegetarian choices are marked as local... Maybe understandable when the clinate is hard to grow much more vegetables in. When you take a german approach to it, you can't have anything delivered to the restaurant which isn't grown there on-island... But that's not a german approach there :D

Should laws be broken for climate pioneering work and should ethics towards fellow human beings be neglected for the goal of building climate-positive companies? Go for it in the replies here... I'm really looking forward to such discussions...

For almost $8000 a night on average, the food looks pretty average such as the Dinner at Out of the Sea dishes. The quality looks like what you would expected from an all inclusive which is pretty disappointing once you pay for all that. Also, use some damn fly covers or fans. Again, paying for THAT MUCH AND YOUR FREAKING FOOD GETS CONTAMINATED. What the fuck.

So sad they build those ugly over water Villas... Destroys everything

all maldives resorts are like this and some are way better priced, I think soneva is overrated for sure.
