This was my first Sonata Arctica song. It was on a promo album, i went out and bought the whole album, 2006 the year i discovered this band, best thing ever. #Mrjbox

yeaht, that's right. finland has very good bands. but in finland is metal also more popular than in other countries. so there are more bands who play metal. but switzerland has also one or two band who aren't bad... for example: lunatica, they are really good. but sonata are forever my favourite. no one has power like them. except dragonforce. but that's a diffrent style and not to compare with sonata...

Well, actually, rock is classed as a genre, as in one of the branches that comes directly from the trunk, which would be the music medium as a whole. Though it was gradually derived from other genres, such as the old "Rock-And-Roll" of the 1950's, its scope is now so broad that it has become a genre unto itself, separated from the things it was built from.

first thing i noticed was the date it was posted.

The others are technically sub-subgenres and there are sub-sub-subgenres, etc. but I chose not to word it like that because it sounds stupid and confusing. It's like a tree. The trunk splits into branches, which split into smaller ones, which split into even smaller ones (it goes on). That's how the media industry classifies it anyway.

love this song so much everytime i hear this one i think about my pack: my 4 dogs. and cant help but think about all the people in the world who disrespect and mistreat animals. people who dont value our kindred spirits: dogs. those who speak of justice and "those who seek justice" rationalize dogs and other animals as just that-- an animal. The funny irony though is that we arent any different; we are the only animal that indulges in schadenfreude. The wolf kills to live. Man kills to kill. So who is the real animal?

I laughed; people are actually deating if this is metal or rock? Who cares? It's awesome, and that's all that matters.
