Yet, because it's Sonam, people in these comments automatically hate her and criticize every little thing. Yeah...she's a bit of a ditz. And fidgets a little. That's a common behavior for a lot of people. It's her natural personality. There's nothing wrong with that, but let's hate it...because it's Sonam! Seriously, I wish people would just lay off her. caomhan84 In that context, we differ in perception. Being seniority comes with quality and experience and to me Rajkumar ranks way much higher on that than Sonam. Infact, even the most senior and experienced actors refrain from calling themselves senior infront of their colleagues, out of respect. Moreover, unlike Sonam, Rajkumar did not have the star background to help him launch himself earlier, otherwise the seniority part would just be void, both in essence and in practise :)

I think she won a NA just so that the late Neerja Bhanot was honoured. Nothing to do with acting really that’s why it was a special mention award rather than acting itself. This was one of times that NA disappointed along with Saif for Hum Tum, Arjun Rampal for Rock On! and Akshay Kumar for Rustom.

The contrast here is that when Rajkumar speaks about his role as an actor, he focuses on explaining art and method of acting which will take us quite closer into what it takes for one person to be able to get into several characters written on scripts. But when Sonam speaks it's all about one person and that is her. This is the clear evident situation happening in the video.

Rajkummar Rao looks amusingly awkward in this interview. It must feel really strange for an artist of his calibre to sit with a below-average actor with a weird accent, speaking about "acting methods". He must be tempted to tell her how pathetic she is onscreen, but hesitates bcoz she is daughter of a powerful actor-producer. That smile of his at 12.49. He was talking about Sonam only. 😂

13:09 is she calling herself too beautiful?👀 Also does she think her roles are typecast and limited because she's too beautiful? She's giving us all second hand embarrassment. Aishwarya Rai who is considered the prettiest woman in the world nailed non glamorous roles like Guru or Sarabjeet. Priyanka who was Miss world did Barfi. They never considered their looks a hurdle for their acting skills.

afgm1 Though I think my opinion is unpopular. This is why I feel her looks are overrated. I think there are many actresses who look way better than her. She may have the overall charisma but if its about only looks then I don't think she looks that good.

Sonam puzzles me. I love all her interviews because she's smart and confident, but when she's talking about her method and dedication to her acting it feels like she's talking about someone else. I could never, till date, see all this effort reflected on her parts. Not even in Aisha, where she played someone much closer to her real socioecomic status. The nice thing about this chat is that the two of them come from very different places and their opinions are definitely not the same (I'm totally with him on the star kids privilege thing), but they hear each other's points of views and respect them. That's what we call a good discussion.

Ohh God! I feel so sorry for Raj in this interview. Just look at the body language of these two people--its polar opposite. While Raj seems to be clam composed and knows what he is speaking, Sonam has no idea what she is doing. Just look at her, it looks like she has a huge crush on the guy sitting opposite to her. By the way did you notice she was served coffee and some munchies that she ate and now she is on her sandwich. OMG!!!!!
