I legit wish there were more episodes like the summer smores. I don't care about 90% of the celebrity guests and find the first 10min with just Conan, Sona, and Matt is the best part of the podcast. Her and Conan are comedy gold!

Sona becoming a rockstar by just living and being herself is the possibly the greatest accomplishment anyone could make in life.

As an Armenian, and Conan fan of 30 years, it was incredibly surreal to not only see Conan in Yerevan, but to see how much he's embraced the culture since knowing Sona. I love it, and everyone loves Sona ❤️🇦🇲

Conan Without Borders is genuinely my favorite aspect of Conan's career. He deserves a full on travel show. But perhaps it's just not a headache he wants right now in life. In any case I do hope we get something like it again someday.

I LOVED CWB. Conan is so great at making sure that HE is the butt of the joke & not the culture and people. I also really like that in between the jokes we do get to learn a bit about the culture of where he's visiting. Conan interacting with non-famous people is always a joy because he is so quick on his feet & he actually listens to the people he is talking with . I am thrilled that it is coming back! ❤❤
Sona is an Assistant Emeritus.
I know it's been said a million times, but Sona is such a talent on her own merit, and Conan obviously saw a kindred spirit when she interviewed to work for him. Smart, sharp, sarcastic, funny, but seemingly with a great depth of kindness as well if you get past all the sarcasm. It makes me happy to see :)

@@TheUrbanEpicure the fact she can keep up with Conan means she is smart and sharp. She is where she is today because of that and Conan would not keep her around if she wasn’t. Also she outwitted him so many times so she can do what she wants without Conan knowing. Hence her book.

A almost hour long podcast video with Sona ? Instant like 👍
Sona is a bright light, every laugh and move she makes is just true love.
I just came back from a trip to Armenia and it was amazing. Yerevan is legit one of the coolest cities I've ever visited
This was prodigiously more entertaining than initially thought. Let us set the date for the Conan & Schlansky in Italy 'Conan Without Borders' retrospective!
Sona is funnily enough, a prime example of how simply getting along with your boss trumps any sort of hard work. I had no idea she wasn't even Conan's assistant anymore, but she has done an excellent job of capitalising on her connection to Conan
@shubhamchaudhari6884

@AndorranStairway

@@shubhamchaudhari6884 exactly. Sona is very lucky to have found Conan, but Conan is kinda lucky to have Sona as well. I highly doubt Conan would've wanted a typical dutiful assistant. He is at his best when he has someone around him who finds him funny and laughs at his jokes; and Sona is that perfect person because she laughs pretty easily and heartily. She's also free of pretense, which I've no doubt is something Conan loves considering he made a career out of interviewing *actors* .

as someone, who can relate to Sona (from diaspora), it was so awesome to see that episode. It's like someone starts to get your inside jokes
I had no intention of listening to the whole thing last night right when i wanted to go to bed, but I did.
Sona is so great. I’ve had her book since it came out and I can’t finish it because it’s so enjoyable. I have like 10 pages left but I just don’t want it to end.

that thing they said about terms of endearment - i'm half persian (armenian is pretty close to persian) and my grandparents would call us jigar, which means liver, all the time. it is really like sona said an intense term of endearment, like you are my entire life so i guess that is just a central-asian thing
Sona's laugh is so precious.
OH! this is 54 minutes long! i thought it was just a 5 minute clip! definitely saving this for later now to watch!
OMG an actual hour long episode! Please give us more of these! Please!
i remember watching that travel show on youtube. conan went out of his way to make things funny while at the same time talking about all the emotions that were present in that journey. as sona said, its a testament to their integrity and also their comedic power !

Sona is so down to earth and humble - this was her key to a happy life and much success - be like Sona.
What a fantastic way to learn Inside Conan is back with a new season
1:13 I love how Jessie went like "awww" like she's gonna say something sweet, and then, woop!
I ❤️ Sona!
I love that Conan still has many of the people who were with him from his late night show days and has taken them with him and made them famous. He is genuinely a really nice guy.
Give me more behind the scenes podcasts from the production team. Finding out all these intricate details from all the abroad series is such a treat. Much love Conan/Sona/behind the scenes teams! :)
I would like to meet everybody Who works for Conan. All amazing great people. So happy to see video of this.
If you do not have an Armenian friend in Southern California and haven't been the dolt in a room at a family dinner, I feel like you're missing out. Conan embracing that is just another example of his genius. Instead of a garage of cars, he has real friends.
I really hope they would post the full video version of the Conan O'Brien needs a friend podcast!

Pleeease more long content like this ❤❤❤
LOVE SONA!!! ❤
This was really great
I find a strange resonance with Sona's Armenia episode as someone who is part of a different diaspora - the Estonian diaspora - since we too were under Soviet occupation (in fact that's why my family fled the country in the first place - it was a bit of a genocide at the time with people being sent by train to Siberia to be worked to death in gulags) - who as an adult went to the homeland of my people, met long-lost relatives there, and how profoundly emotional it was for me. People in the U.S. or Canada or wherever who have had their family there for many generations on all sides, whose family came over 300 or 400 years ago, I don't think they can ever GET that - not really - not in the way it is for us because for us, that's 20th century - that's relatively recent history - recent enough that we grew up with first-hand accounts from beloved family members of the war and fleeing and all of that, grew up with the culture and everything - so I get a lot of Americans who seem perplexed why I'd identify so strongly with Estonia - by the way I'm a dual citizen so it's also my nationality and I can speak the language - and they just can't understand that to me, it's an intensely important thing because the land and the culture ARE my connection to my family who are no longer with us, and form a core part of my identity even if I grew up mainly in the U.S. - you really don't know how much of a gut punch it IS to you until you are there, walking the same cobblestone streets your great, great, great, great, great GREAT grandparents did CENTURIES ago, attending song and dance festivals that would have been commonplace when your family last fled the place, and to feel this sense that you are AT LAST truly among your people - you just cannot explain that to someone in words. You have to experience it for yourself, and I feel like a lot of Americans have so completely lost touch with their heritage that such things are mystifying to them. I think EVERYONE should get in touch with who their people are and return to the homeland of their people at least once in their lives - it will fundamentally reshape your perception of your place in the world and what it all means. I, for one, never - even as a child- identified as "American" because that held no personal meaning to me- no connection to people and times past, to distant ancestors through the mists of time - "American" just JUST a nationality, after all, while it's different for other parts of the world.

Great ep.
I'll say it. Sweeney has THE best podcast voice. Ever.
Conan and Sona have great chemistry. It is a damn shame they don’t have a network show.
I went through my range of emotions in Conan in Armenia. But man did Conan look good in that Armenian attire.
54 minutes!!! Yessssss
Go Sona ❤️
Love here!!!
It's amazing that sona is still an assistant .... I was one .... amazing.
Sona is a beast. Everyone I know associates her more than Andy.
I know the main topic is about the Armenia remote but I just wanted to say I’m super excited to hear the podcast will be focusing on the traveling Conan specials. The one in particular that I absolutely love is the Mexico one. It happened in response to the horrible Trump comments and it was so cathartic watching someone with little personal connection to the country like Conan say “wait, sorry but no!” And defend it the best way he knew how. I’ll forever be grateful to him for that.
sona movsesian is a gem
Sona Movsesian is SO incredibly beautiful…
I went to Yerevan not to long after and I showed them all the episode to my flatmates and and friends, they didn't laugh much haha but they still liked it:)
I was hoping to see the part with Conan and Joel McHale, but this is great too
Sona has won. She has worked her way up to a email forwarder. Sona is a legend.
yaya got her way... never doubt the power of little old ladies' determination
The "Conan in Armenia" episode is one of the best TV I've ever watched. I didn't even know about the Armenian Genocide before watching that episode. I'm hoping that Conan will also feature The Philippines and the atrocities committed by the Marcos regime since there's a huge push by the Marcoses to "move on" and ignore that part of our history
Sona we've been loving you way before podcasts...
Love u Sona
I melted when Mike Sweeney says to Sona "You're fantastic always".

Heyy Sona👋 Greetings from Istanbul😂 love you🧡🧡🧡
I didn't know that there is so much similarities between Armenian language and Persian. Not only words, we have also some same phrases. Like I eat your liver.
They did a great job while in Armenia
Armenia and Jerusalem are the two coolest and most important things Conan has ever done.
IMHO, the Armenia episode was one of the BEST episodes of any show I watched. I never even knew about the Armenian genocide (1.2 million murdered). And you can see how genuine Conan really is. Thank you for this episode. Still praying for Amenians 🙏
