She should have won instead of Ailee. Yeah both of them are great artist but in here she shines the most. I wonder why she isnt "huge" as the other solo artists. She is way too great!!!!! Son Seung-Yeon gave us chills.

Sustained A5 belt and other easy upper 5th octave belting... This girl is definitely one of my fav girls on Immortal Songs besides Ailee, Sohyang and ALi.

My goodness... This girl should've won. Ailee is magical, and always delivers, but wow! Watching this episode my jaw literally dropped during this performance. Son Seungyoung should've won. Hands down. There are some very talented people there, but wow. Just wow. I wish that I could purchase this performance. I literally want to pay for it. Damn. It'd be amazing to see her perform like this in person. Can you imagine the energy in the audience?!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Ailee! She's the reason I started watching the Immortal Songs show and then came across SeungYeon just this week and O. M. G.!!! She's absolutely fantastic!!!! Her voice is perfect!!! I still love Ailee of course, and she doesn't smile "fake", she always smiles, okay?! Nothing wrong with smiling while singing! She's awesome too but SeungYeon is hard to beat!!! Anyways, Korea has a LOT of great singers! I really enjoy watching this show! ~ YeyeG.

Argh! That is the second song that starts off fantastic, and then around 1:58, it turns all jazzy?! And as much as we admire Son Seungyeon, jazzy just will never be our thing! But this day and this lady have enriched our playlist a lot! :D:D

Guys you don't have to be too harsh on Ailee! she deserve winning! .. And this girl is too talented!

Maura Karina I think so too but the song Ailee sang had much more popularity! And Ailee did slay that song as well.. but I think it was down to the popularity of the song. It usually effects the winning.

I agree that Son Seungyeon got robbed vs the Sohyun Junho married couple and she deserved a win there. And I am a HUGE fan of both Ailee and Son Seungyeon (Although I'll admit I have a bigger bias towards ailee) I will, however, remain very objective when I say this Seungyeon is a little above Ailee in terms of dynamic powerful performances, her energy just goes off the charts. There's a mix of song choice, audience, and sensitivity here though. First off, the background behind Irona "Move" by Yoon Bokhee was seen as an offensive and forceful title by the older generation, and most of the audience consists of adults or people that lived during her prime or her legend. Secondly, although Ailee might lose in energy and level of power and skill (slightly), Ailee definitely bests Son Seungyeon in terms of sincerity and sensitivity. Which brings me to Ailee's song choice, "Everyone" is literally one of the most famous songs from the previous generation of Korea, as compared to Seungyeon's song choice. Not that I blame her, I personally love "Move" a lot. Ailee was even complimented as having given the "best" rendition of Everyone so far by Yoon Bokhee. Simply put, what Ailee loses to Son Seungyeon in terms of energy, range, and power, she makes up for in her ability to move a rigid heart with softness in addition to her already powerful vocals. I think it's really just experience. Of course, the kid chorus brought her a long way too lol.

I love this performance better than ailee's which for me wasn't really great...

I loved ailees performance, but if the performance order were reversed Ailee wouldn't have won. the only reason Seungyeon lost was because she went right after all the lovey dovey-ness of the other couple
