They certainly had the music down but listening to them sing in this fashion, convinces me the dude should stick to synth and let professionals do vocals.

Not smashing the dude, but unique is a good way of describing his live vocals. I stress the term live. There's a huge difference from his recorded vocals, we can both agree on that.

treznor1138 sure, his live voice sounds different from recorded, but I still think the uniqueness of his voice cannot be replaced live by another singer. Even if he sometimes sings a bit wrong, surely you can enjoy all the emotions he's putting in his performance, whether it's in the instruments or his voice 😉

WTF This is not Lost it to trying ! This have nothing the hell to do with that music ! What about the ambiance, i didn't came a concert of Son Lux to hear this shit ! What is that noise ! I'm sure a lot of people regret to pay their tickets for this festival only for Son Lux ! I'm keen on this music but now i'm really disappointed !!

Son Lux is known for constantly reinventing their songs, they even do it on recorded tracks. Just look at the number of different versions there is of "Easy"! I think it is marvelous to see them being able to create something entirely new and unique yet still close enough that it still sounds like the "original" recorded song.

lul. i was at the very same concert without knowing them in before. This was unbelievable. Fucking amazing.
