It took me at least 2 years to become conversational in German, Arabic, and Turkish while deployed or assigned overseas on numerous assignments while on active duty in the U.S. Air Force. Keep in mind that I was immersed in the culture and taking classes to blend in. Mad props to Somin for trying to learn a foreign language which is not easy for anyone. Keep up the great work and you got this!

Somin is me when im learning korean. Its so hard because i already speak two languages. Malay and English. I want to learn korean properly but hiring a teacher is out of my budget haha. But really somin did a good job with learning english. She actually understood the context but just cant speak properly. BM is a good teacher too. He is such a patient person

As someone who started to learn many languages but masterd none, I feel the struggle and totally get the feeling of being scared 😅 But the most important thing is to just talk, without fear of mistakes. My first Japanese teacher always said the point of learning a language is to communicate with others. It's not about being perfect or making no mistakes at all. As long as you can communicate your thoughts and feelings, that is good enough for a start. The rest comes with practice 😊

I only know English fluently, but wish I knew another one. I learned some French in the past but wasnt good. I have tried to learn a little bit of Korean but gave up pretty fast.
