I think this technique of live singing is golden. Diminishing the song so that it is just in the background really allows the singer’s vocals to shine and be more appreciated. Before, Somi was a good singer but people still criticised her voice and now she has proved all the haters that she has a great and stable voice. Yes, she doesn’t have a voice as great as Tayeon or IU but she works hard and has the potential. Every show should use the method seen and heard in this live performance so that all kpop idols have a chance to flaunt their amazing vocals. :)
