Somewhere in Time (1980) - for the first time

Richard Collier meets Elise McKenna.
From "Somewhere in Time", Christopher Reeve finally finds Jane Seymour. It's love at first sight. Elise Mckenna is finally found by the time traveller Richard Collier. Favourite scene. Beach scene by the sea, under the trees.

I bought this move back in the 80’s when we had VHS. Now I bought it again online. This is so beautiful. My heart is sad that Christopher Reeve passed away. He was a wonderful actor and Jane Seymour too. May He R.I.P. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

@ Michelle Barnett Try this one: 'The Ghost And Mrs. Muir' (1947), starring Rex Harrison & Gene Tierney. The single greatest Romance movie ever made, imo. Yes, even better than 'Somewhere In Time'. (And without the massive plot holes that 'Somewhere In Time' has.)

Somewhere In Time, along with Ghost from 1990, are the two romance movies that GET emotion between two people. Not to mention the fact that they elevate the moment with the superb actors/actresses, breathtaking scores and fantastic camera work. Things the overrated Notebook does not have. This moment here, between Richard and Elise, is pure magic. Look at Chris and Jane's eyes. That's telling a story.

I believe that her it was waiting for him near tree. Perhaps, She had lived this moment before and the actual situation is a second chance of her life. In the movie, Elise let much information about your past to Richard found and to do he know about her past. Firstly, the clock that her give to him. Secondly, the photo on Grand Hotel. Thirdly, the book about travel in time and the Grand Hotel small scale that plays the music that Richad like. So, perhaps, Elise did know that Ricard would come back and would found in that place. Perhap she had say "is it you?" to confirm if was himself. Remember that Richard had make a small discurs to explain the him came the future. But when she said “is it you" he did not need to say anything word to her. The look in your eyes was sufficient.

I actually captured flora and it is so beautiful and there is no explaination But I do believe in ghosts now and I do believe the reason flo loves this hotel is because it was their special place like me and my wifes I do believe henry and flo are together and just make appearances here and there to remind us of how precious love is

It first belonged to Richard Collier, and in the end, that pocket watch, was left behind with Elise McKenna before he departed, and Elise kept it all those years and gave it back to the modern day Richard Collier. By the way, this movie writer Richard Matheson also has an Original Star Trek series connection as he wrote the episode The Enemy Within, first season episode.
