I've always said this song sounded like it was a duet, yet Dan Hill didn't record it this way. Thank you for realizing this song for what it truly is. A duet!! 😍

Now i understood this song. It is about the two person who never understood and hide their own feelings to one another. A feeling of hesitation and fear that they are unrequited. And at the end accept the reality even though it hurts. You can never know what is the feeling of someone until you are wearing the same shoe.😥

The duet is actually better than the solo version. The solo version is excessive on the schmaltz. The duet is deeper and more heartfelt.

It's so hard to find this particular version on youtube, but it's easily my favorite version.

"Sometimes when we touch", reminds me of those good, old days back in Clark Air Base, Phil. The year was '77.
