Yes! What kills me is how they so cleanly re-enter the water on landing. You know how in Olympic diving they try not to make a splash- same here!

@@JDFollowCam I was wondering if the foil might have cut the wing when it flipped onto it.

The gear information in your post is incomplete or incorrect or both. Can you please include the first rider's equipment which looks to be all Armstrong and list which Armstrong board (Liters?) and which Armstrong foil set up he's on? It would help those of us inspired by the riding to get a sense for what these riders prefer. Thanks!

The gear information is my kite foil setup. Cash Berzolla is the an Armstrong team rider and he's riding a 4'5" 34L board, MA 625 front, 180 tail and 795 mast 🤙🏼

Is wingfoil replacing kiteboarding or the latter is still being performed when the former is not possible?

not replacing but a lot of kiters switched to winging. did a count the other day and there were less then 10 kiters, over 10 windsurfers and over 20 wingers, regular trade wind day 🤙🏼

@@JDFollowCam I saw a similar change 10 years ago in Cabarete (Dominican Republic), a world famous spot for windsurfers: most of them disappeared, replaced by kiteboarder, and I am pretty sure that today kitesboarders are mostly replaced by wingfoilers! Of course, they are the same people, just another gear...
