Pile 3 is my current situation. I’m hoping to call Pile 4 my current situation soon. My whole life is at a crossroads. Getting ready to sign divorce papers after 17 years of marriage and close on our house April 30th- after 5 years of feeling like a caged animal. Met my TF after a year of separation, but ex refused to sign papers because he wanted me to walk away empty handed. He thought that I would give up and give him his way (even though he was the abusive alcoholic and the one who had an affair and denied it for 1 1/2 years). I literally asked him, “Have you met me? Let me introduce myself. I am a fighter and will never give up on what’s fair and right. Didn’t think it’d take 5 years. But, I’m ready to start my new life on an almost clean slat and to become a new and better version of myself. I left teaching during Covid. My entire rug has pulled from the beer me (marriage, home, career, and financial stability). I guess I rolled the rug up on teaching. I am working to find a new career path, housing , and hopefully build something beautiful with my counterpart. I am consoled by the belief that me and my life were meant for something other than where I was. 🏃‍♀️my dreams!
