I love the idea of boss dinosaurs like the Savage acro! That would be such a cool concept to have in future games and would give the world a sense of structure rather than there being a bunch of random spawned creatures everywhere. Honestly it would be cool to see more advanced AI behavior like migration and herds along with packs and territories. Having specific dinosaurs be around the world that almost have personalities would give players a better connection to the world.

You should look into the mod "The Hunted" It changes dino AI and spawning so that most dinos spawn in herds around a nesting zone. The nest aalso spawns nest guardians that will aggro to the player regardless of species. The mod isnt perfect, and is a bit limited, but honestly it is my favorite ark mod BY FAR. No more trapping dinos to tranq them, no more hodge podge of dinos mingling together. You can also add Ark additions to it, though ark additions creatures are a bit overtuned in comparison to hunted ones. It is great, and worth a look.

Wildcard had so much potential with the alpha concept. I imagine they could add mammal alphas/leaders; imagine fighting the mammoth matriarch, or the sabertooth pride male

Now that is how the alpha Dino in game should look in game … not that boring red mist but a complete different model with scars and spears in the flesh all over their body … That Savage Acro is what a good alpha Dino should be

@@-Surthur- this is a mod made by Garuga. 99.99% chance this will remain a mod, I highly doubt garuga wants this to be a part of the base game since he has spent a lot of time and effort on this mod. It is downloadable on the steam workshop though!

This looks amazing! UpFromTheDepths, you have got to be the best ARK filmmaker I’ve ever had seen. And Garuga(sorry if I butchered the name) has really outdone himself. I can see how Wildcard could add these to ARK. They look so good!

Savage has such a good model. Makes the alphas in the base game look exceptionally lacking. Love the injuries leftover in its tissue from previous hunts!

What is missing in the best creature mod? Why of course making the most savage animal an amazing looking boss! And as always you've crushed the cinematics! Also did anyone notice the small UpFromTheDepths-Chibi?

Absolutely superb! Your videos never fail to impress! This mod is absolutely lovely and I’ve fallen in love with all of these unique creatures, they really do feel like they belong in ark!

Just wanted to say again, thank you! This mod (among others) has been a mainstay on my homelab server cluster. I will continue to play ASE and watch how ASA plays out from a distance. Its an official sponsored mod so it might be added to the game at a later date but as an official update to the game not a mod. Kind of like the Dodorex and the community maps.

I was half expecting the domination rex to come out and challenge the savage acro toward the end since we see it attacks powerful creatures in other trailers. Awesome trailer keep up the great work

I'm on ps4 too, but now the devs has given up their game, no updates a lot of bugs, no Mods on console i'm afraid to see my main game die.

You underestimate the power of the Xiphactinus? Shame on thee; he is not bound by the laws of physics, and can go wherever he pleases.

This trailer is awesome and dramatic, but I also lost it at the xiphactinus just FLOPPING toward the savage acro with the rest of them LOL.

No complaints, whoever made these mods with such gorgeous designs is a great artist.

I wonder how it spawns? Is it needing to be manually summoned in like an arena boss or will it randomly spawn onto the map like any other creature? Fantastic video!

it would be cool of someone added more actual progression to the advancement of ages. like thatch, wood, stone, and metal are too bland. no one makes thatch or wood since it takes like 30mins to unlock stone. then you're pretty much set. stone tools to just metal is so bland. why not the bronze, iron, steel etc? this would add more progression instead of bum rushing to level 70 for industrial stuff.
